WOW, I was trying to figure this out for 2 days, THANK YOU SO MUCH, this worked with the POWERA controller. The only thing I had to do was open up STEAM BIG MODE to calibrate it, because the joystick kept going to the bottom of the screen and it was messing with me. Very detailed fully explained and now I can use my remote for my Xbox Game Pass games on Xbox Cloud Gaming, w00t w00t

Thank you very much, I recently got a Sega Saturn style USB gamepad and while it worked fine with emulators and old games more modern games like Street Fighter V didn't detect it, now I can play it with the optimal button placement.

@@shiveshdutt2874 It did get fixed, yeah but it ended up being kind of a run around. I had tried a few controller programs and it was reading weird when I'd start my game, so I got annoyed and factory reset my PC then followed just your guide and it ended up working fine.

Hey i installed ds4windows but now my sensitivity is super slow even with ds4windows closed. I tried with my Xbox controller but Is still slower even with ds4windows closed. I also tried to uninstall ds4windows but nothing change, something bugged my sens, i even tried to reinstal the driver of my Xbox controller in the device management panel but nothing fix this slow sens. Any fix? Please HELP!

Try downloading from the original website, There's many fixes in the new update. So if you still got issues, try the newest version✔️
Ok im not setting this up for a game im setting it up for PS NOW.
Here is my problem: there are some buttons i need to change they are not all messed up but some buttons need to be changed to what it should be i always get this error: Unhandled exception has occurred in your appliccation. if you click Continue. the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click Quit. the application will close immediately

Very good tutorial. Everything works in this application, I did it exactly as instructed. But when I launch the Medal of Honor Warfighter, not all buttons working, only left analog and 4 buttons works. Do you have this game to try it play with gamepad?

HOLY SHIT it worked man! Thanks a lot. Sadly I still can't play XCloud games for some reason (even if the device is detected), but now I don't have to use a keyboard for shooter games anymore.
Edit: Lol I forgot XCloud games only work for the user that has an active Ultimate Game Pass profile, but not for the profiles that share the same device with UGP, so that's why I can't play.
