The just shall live by faith. So why can't a believer who gives to the work of God avoid insurance on the grounds that God will not allow evil/calamity/disaster to befall him? Isn't it contradictory to say God will rebuke devourers for us and still fear disaster?
It's not contradictory at all because there's a spiritual wisdom and practical wisdom, you need both to succeed in life, Spiritual wisdom will help you succeed in the spiritual realm while the practical wisdom will do same in the physical realms
