Jodi, great idea to use those molds. I have bought clay at Wal-Mart. The air dry & the kind you put in the oven. I haven't tried the clay from $🌳 but I am satisfied with the clay from Wal-Mart.

Walmart has a couple USA flag silicone molds. I either paid $.97 or $1.97. It has stars and the molds are really excellent. I've purchased tons of Walmart molds. In the cake decorating section, the molds are super expensive. I always find these molds on the end of an isle hanging on the side of an end cap and usually around kitchen and/or craft areas. I use them mostly for resin, but have used them for air dry clay as well. How fun all this is!

Jody if you wanted too, take a sharpie marker and put the names of the acrylic paints on top of the lid. That way you don't need to go looking for them.

Oh goodness Jody, I know how much that can hurt! Try taking the next little piece you will work with add some water if you want then put it plastic wrap and sit on it while you mush the current piece into the mold.

I saw someone do paper clay and she took the clay out of the mold after a few minutes for it to dry. She said if you don’t it takes forever to dry since the air can’t get to it. Maybe that would help with your wait time. Thank you for sharing I may have to try this. Lol

It will melt if you put it in the oven. It is not like polymer clay. My niece did that by mistake and it melted.

Jody, that clay will crack. Best thing to use is cornstarch. Amazon has a wonderful paper clay if you're going to work with IOD moulds, or stamps. 💕💕💕
