Hello Katherine. We use the mini snap containers for small FIRST AID KITS for the homeless. My friend made about 50 of them and donated them to my ministry. The kit included band-aids, alcohol wipes, gauze, and she cut and filled straws with antibiotic ointment and melted the edges with a lighter to close. Our outdoor friends LOVED them.

If you plan to share with people who are homeless and on the streets... the container is a perfect size to tuck under your car seat or in your glove box... so when you see someone in need on the streets you can hand them a granola bar, water bottle and first aid kit. It's also a great gift for your entire family and friends for Christmas or a get-to-gether. They will appreciate a mini first aid kit in their back packs for school, camping, hiking or baby bag. Even though we are prepared for a minor accident, let's pray noone needs it. Amen.

I have never seen a Dollar Tree as well stocked, clean, and loaded with cool,stuff like your DT…
In suburban areas the “cheapest” thing they do is Target. So that means fuller stocked shelves and availability. Tho what I’ve noticed is the party favors n items are most popular in these communities at DT n DG.
They most be doing something right if their stock shares together are larger then Walmart & Target combined!

I’m a manager at Dollar Tree and a lot of the stuff like the drawer organizers I would never have thought to use like that. I can’t wait to do stuff like this
Those door alarms were a lifesaver for us! I have a son who's severely Autistic and when he was a few years old he was always running out the door rain, snow, sleet or shine those alarms helped us out alot! I even had to put them on his window because he would open his window and throw out his toys and since he was in the second floor I was afraid of him trying to jump out! 😬Again those alarms were a blessing!
Splatter Screen use: the screen is great if you need to patch a hole in your screened door or window. I use E6000 and it holds great!

I put the whole splatter screen, knob down, in the bottom of our larger plant pots supported by 4 to 6 tile pieces. I want an air barrier in the bottom. Even though they have drain holes, the splatter screen stops fine soil from running out and prevents against the 2" packed layer that plants will develop over time. That layer never drains keeping the roots in a swampy mess. But not with a slater screen!

I've never heard anyone mention the 2 GALLON plastic zipper bags from Dollar Tree. They're in the kitchen section- I love them!! I use them not just in the kitchen but all over the house to store shoes, purses, scarves, sewing accessories, all sorts of things. They're great!
I use the two gallon bags tons. I use them for scrapbook projects. I can put papers, photos and embellishments in their own project bags and take with to a crop.
Those bags are great for packing each day's outfit for a child going to summer camp.
Those are awesome, my dollar tree has trouble keeping them in stock cuz they get bought up so fast.
Mouthwash, soap dispenser, plastic shot glasses 🤯! The simplicity of it all. TFS

I've used the salad dressing dispensers for my mouthwash with little Dixie cups, but I love this idea for a guest bath!

I am going to grab one today for my kids' bathroom. We have mouthwash spills all the time.
When I’m planting seeds inside to go out to the garden I use the little shot glasses as a terrarium top until the seed sprouts. The seeds get the humidity and light they need and I don’t have to worry about the soil drying out.

Just wanted to bring up that what’s at the dollar tree near you really depends on the socioeconomic level of the area. Low income area Dollar Stores do not have the same quality stuff as the stores in mid/high income areas. Would love to see some videos like this at a Dollar Tree in a low income area. Money saving hacks mean even more to those communities 😊

I'm in a low income area in an inner-city and it's not as though they do not have these things, but rather, that they hire people who couldn't give a ❤️ and it's all piled in massive heaps while the cashiers just sit there doing nothing other than complaining. The only thing people seemed to buy there was the cheap, crappy food. Went way out in the county and was blown away by the really cool stuff they had! Thankfully now that I have a car, I have this as an option, but as to the community, no, for the most part videos like these are on a different planet of priorities.
@@juliafox52 The owner of the DT you visited in the city should be visiting the one in the country to see how a DT should be run. And they wonder why sales are lagging and there are no customers.
Tip: Goodwill stores operate the opposite way. Good quality donations get sent to the poorer areas, so the folks there have a chance to buy good stuff.
Nope, not necessarily true that crappy DT stores are in low socioeconomic areas. I live in Roanoke TX, where the median household income is $100,888 per the 2020 census, and the Roanoke DT store is messy and poorly stocked.

I love to use those little containers to hold six dice, a few short pencils and some Yahtzee score sheets. Great for waiting with kids.

The clear containers are also great for storing batteries you can see. AA, AAA and 9V. And they stack perfectly.
I store my batteries in the refrigerator (live in a hot climate).
Obviously the entire video was awesome and fun, but I just wanted you to know you literally have me in tearing up just hearing you say "you are enough" and the virtual hug. I felt and needed that today. Spent the morning crying in the shower.Thank you for saying that. 🌸

I used the plastic snap containers for a lot of things. I use them inside games to store all the cards and pieces, decks of cards, dice. I use them in my desk to hold thumb drives and memory cards. I made a cleaning kit for my daughter to carry a cloth and small bottle of glasses cleaner to throw in her bookbag. She has another one with her adapters and power cable for her tablet for school. I have one with clippers, a nail file, hair tie and sometimes jewelry on my nightstand. (Anything tiny that I use or remove right before bed that the cat steals while I sleep) I have a few empty ones ready to hold pieces whenever I get around to opening my diamond dot kit. At work I have sugar for coffee in one, flash drives in another and most used screwdriver bits in another. I almost forgot the ones I have in my bathroom for travel with cotton balls, qtips, floss picks and bandaids. I also have one with matches with the camping gear to keep them dry.

I take the screen cover with the handle. Keep screen in and decorate like a wreath. Hot glue, floral, ribbon and a small sign or stuffed animal, a decoration of some sort in the middle. Make it your own.

The $Trees in my area are lousy......Get disgusted everytime that I go to them..NEVER HAVE WHAT I SEE ON THE DIFFERENT "$TREE clips.Every crafter on You-Tube has a marvelous things to choose from ...my $ Tree just usually has junk....Never any craft items seen here and on different craft shows....It is SO disappointing to get these awesome ideas and not to be able to find these items to use to make these awesome crafts ......And have talked to the employee's and am told that the stores in my area get THIER stock from different warehouses ...just seems so stupid to me ....,but will continue to watch and just jot down the ideas to use When or If my local $ Tree's get on board .. ! We got one of those super small containers with the snappable lid. We put our bar soap in it for our trailer. No mess and it can live in the container!

Glad I read down to this comment because I was about to say the exact same thing….my mother in law has a camper in their back yard just so their guests and family have a place to stay when they (we) visit…..so each of us have our own containers we just bring our soap that way no one is using others soap (cause that’s gross lol) but also she wouldn’t want soap in their getting rank if she doesn’t have visitors for a while….she has each one of the kids their own little box she keeps in her house and she goes to the camper and decorated it depending on who is coming to stay and leave our little box right there so as soon as we get their we can unpack (it’s also how she keeps track of the special little decor for each family’s style)….she is pretty great!!! Also since our drive is so long (we are the ones that are 14 hrs away-everyone else is three hours max) so we use them as little dog food snacks and once they finish their snack they drink water from them (another hack for thirsty pups on the road is they love to drink water out of the spray bottles lol so we have those in the car too)
Make sure to put a thin sponge or cloth under the bar to keep it from sitting in leftover liquid and/or rattling around if it's in a bag.
The little plastic cups work great for BBQ's!! Put them by the veggie tray with ranch or other dressing. Keeps the mess to a minimum. You can also add the veggies to the cups after you put the dressing or dip in them. Even less mess!
This is a great idea for dinner in general .. Have some French fries & want some vinegar? But, don't want your fries soaked? Use one of those cups.. Or a blue cheese cup? Brilliant thanks 👍🏻❤️

We used to do this for crudites at wedding banquets. They would slice the veg and put them in a little cup of ranch. It worked great. People could just lick up a little cup and be on their way.

Instead of buying expensive holiday/seasonal bathroom hand towels for my guest bath, I started buying the seasonal kitchen towels like the cute beachy starfish ones now at Dollar Tree. Work just as well and I can change things up inexpensively.

The book section at the Dollar Tree is always a treasure trove, definitely. Especially as prices are going up, you can find so many books here, especially if you have kids, and/ or you want kid's books, colouring books, activity books, Bible books, a lot of BOOKS!!

I love your video's. I was shook with the idea of using the clear drawers as wall storage for the brushes - it would be perfect in the kitchen cabinets for seasoning packets or the flavor packets for water :) TFS

I have that little security thingy on my door and man, that little sucker does the job!! And very very loud. Good for keeping kids in (and it's also good if you have a family member with alzheimers who gets mixed up going to the bathroom at 4am. My neighbor had it and wandered down the road looking for her bathroom. Her sister didn't even know she opened the front door. So this came in handy.)
yes this is great for a person who has Alzheimer's ...also great for the blind. My Dad ( who is blind) appreciates having this on his back door.

I use those lid lock containers on day trips to the coast for portion controlling snacks while I drive. I've eaten a whole bag of chips one way out before and it's not the best for me so I do carrots and celery and cucumber now in those smaller containers

That candle breakage footage was great! Who hasn't broken something in a store? So glad in my case, it's been very inexpensive items (maybe that's why I don't take my clumsy self to high end stores!) lol
I love the spatter screens. I recently started using then in my round dehydrator. I removed the screens from the rings & the knobs. The screens fit in my trays perfectly & I can dehydrate anything regardless of the size.

Another gr8 Dollar Tree video Katherine.... as ALWAYS!!! 😉 However I found in this video that the most comforting & compassionately connected part was when you showed the clip of dropping & breaking an item in the store! You could gave edited it out,, but you didn't! And Thank You for that!! Let's be honest, I think just about every single one of us has dropped & broke something in a store. Which we then become embarrassed & shamed, even tho it was completely an accident. We didn't deliberately throw it down to break it & draw unwanted attention & judgement from others to be placed upon us. Nor to have immediate urges & panic to flood over us making pleas to pay for it (or clean it it up) or feeling that we should offer to. Only to be followed by overwhelming sorrow & agony sets in as we see an employee have to stop what they're doing to clean up your mess. Once more leaving us to feel as if we should the one cleaning up the mess we.... again.. "accidentally" made. (Poor Charlie handled it like a champ as tho it seemed! Again! Lol!!😉 My point being You are a person of admiration & inspiration for oh soooooo sooo many of us out here! It's because of those amazing qualities & characteristics, that you radiate a genuine kindness & peacefulness leaving an impression of perfection or gentleness or at the very least, probably someone who things like that would be less likely happen to. Which is silly of any of us to think, I know. We forget you're a normal human being just like the rest of us. You're not "perfect". Nor are you immune to the feelings of shame, embarrassment, guilt, or regret. So as much as you are loved, adored, admired, or depended upon by all of us out here, Thank You again for keeping it real & for the reality check! Egg Whites have zero nutrients
You can also crack it into your hand and let the white slide out between your fingers then drop the yolk into a separate bowl.
@@RubyTwilite I did try that, but then my hand is all slimy. And I lose some of the white. This way, I get all of the white.
#5 I use the clear drawer pieces on a wooden rack over my kitchen sink. They hold my dish soap and hand soap dispensers. Perfect size and protects the wood from water/soap drips.
I love their decorative gift boxes. I line them with wax paper and fill them with my homemade fudge or cookies and give them to friends and coworkers. When the goodies are eaten....the receiver can reuse the decorative boxes for regifting or whatever.
I love that those adorable gift boxes come decorated for various holidays. I stock up on the holiday ones in case I have a last minute gift of fudge or cookies is needed.

And the way you end each one is so sweet….todays world there aren’t enough of people telling people they are worth anything so I applaud you for making that the last of your videos….I also follow a fellow tumbler maker who does the same thing and I love it….(I am chronically sick-AKA a spoonie and the only time I am allowed to leave my home is for doctors, test, treatments and infusions) so sometimes on bad days I watch your videos just to feel normal and hear then ending! Great tips! I use the pop lock container for my avocado halves 🥑 it’s perfect, keeps the open Avo fresh, and wayyy cheaper than the avocado storage they charge $8+ for at other places 💚

I did the one with the tp rolls. It worked great!!
Also anchor the first eyelet the one closer to the outer side of rod and put that one so it stays put and catches when you run your curtains it stays beautifully in place
Longer term tip use one of the pool noodles out Dollar Tree cut up instead! After a while the TP roll loses its shape after being moved often 😉

I work at a barn taking care of horses, and the splatter screen with the handle is the most GENIUS water trough skimmer, the mesh is smaller than a normal colander, so it gets all the pollen, saliva skim, plus the debris that falls in, for a dollar those things save SO MUCH water, I just thought about it one day, because I LOVE Dollar Tree and like to find creative uses for cheap stuff anyway, haha!
Everyone at the barn was blown away, it's so simple but it works so well, haha!
And for a buck, if I have to replace it every week, it's still worth the water we save!
I have 5 herniated discs + my nearest Dollar Tree is 35 miles away, so videos like these really help me decide if I need to make the trip. Thank you! My daughters are teenagers, so we 'need' a lot of these goodies. P.S. ~ I love your outfit!!! :)
Great tips, the mouth wash and shot glasses was a great idea, the tp rolls for your curtins, the clear storage draws on the wall, loved them all

We have one. A lot of keepsakes from our beach trips but definitely hang up things we've found at Dollartree or FamilyDollar. It's been fun putting it together! You'll love yours once you start!
We did it all ourselves so the only real expense was the beautiful shower curtain!

What I hate MOST abt depression is that when it hits sometimes you have NO IDEA WHY...?!?! It drives me nuts... I do take medication for my depression however I still have to ride the waves sometimes... Saturday was a bit rough for me... But it's ok... I got thru it... Sometimes I have to just get up and be active EVEN IF IT SUXS!! I really hope you get throught today calmly... it's hard... Ur absolutely not alone!!!

I've been looking for slightly bigger hoops to create a macrame bed for a chubby kitty (lol), and I think the size of those rings just might work for her. I would have never thought to take out the insides of something like that, so that opens up other possibilities, too. 🤠
1:06 Those small lockit containers are great for keeping surprisingly dangerous toothpicks from spilling out in a drawer and getting a finger stabbed with a hidden one later! Toothpicks are evil! Lol 🤠
They can hold matches and keep them dry while camping!
Large hole salt and pepper shakers works well too.
Switch to floss instead of toothpicks. Floss is better and safer for your teeth and gums plus, if you get the unflavored floss, you can use it to cut heavy or fragile cakes by holding it across the cake and pushing down.👍🏻

Snap lid container is good for stuff you might put in a ziploc bag but it makes it more visible and easier to find. I put my individual healthy drink packets in it and it's much easier to find in my bag than a ziploc
The use of a slotted spoon to separate egg yolks from the whites totally had my eyes bug out in surprise. Like "Why didn't I think of that before?" Seriously genius!
