Amazing photo shoot Neil! Thanks for sharing. I thought of two things. 1. Have you considered a walkie talkie to help for these long distance shoots like this? 2. I wonder what it would look like if you shot on a tripod and got a long exposure of the waterfall so it was silky smooth and then brought in the couple and shot them like you did. Then combine the photos so you have a silky smooth waterfall and a sharp couple.
Great video as always Neil! Just FYI, non-rechargable batteries work better due to the slight voltage difference between rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries. Non-rechargeable have the voltage specified to use with the trigger. I had this issue previously and learned this was causing my problem.
Absolutely awesome work. I have been to Skogafoss a few times and know how challenging it can be to get a photo with spray, wind etc....u add a speedlight into the equation haha take my hat off to you. Amazing photos. Well worth the effort 👌 🙌
Another great video Neil, some stunning shots too. I wasn't aware about the issue of the flash missing when using rechargeable batteries in the trigger, does this affect the speed light as well or is it just the trigger?
Haha, honestly mate, we were DRENCHED! Well worth it though - we saw the Northern Lights on the drive back from this shoot - such an amazing place 😍 I hope you're well :)
I proposed to my wife here in 2021. It’s an amazing place and this video does it justice. Fantastic video 😊

Hi Daniel, aah that's great, thank you very much for explaining the difference! I knew there was a reason but didn't know why. Thank you again 😊

Thank you so much Graham, I really appreciate your kind words - especially as someone who knows how challenging it can be too!
Lithium AA for mine - lasts years. And distance is the first thing I thought of - it's the cause of many of my misfires

Epic as always! Thanks for sharing! Which trigger are you using that has the scan function… newest godox?
😜Sorry, watched a few more min and got my answer ….. does the other godox trigger also have th3 scanner function?
Thank you very much! I don't know if the other Godox triggers have the scan function - they may say it on their website? Sorry I can't help!
