I just happened to be on here when this popped up. Whoa! Love this trio cover of RS👏👏👏. You’re second solo verse is amazing - the chord solo is perfect for an homage, and the moment. Beautifully, and masterfully played (by all!)🔥😁.
..nice, 3 players in a real studio like the old days!..Chris, is that a 1950’s 175?..i had a black 175 back in the day i Boston..should have never gotten rid of that..different times!
Chris, You always give the two things needed for a superb video, excellent Playing and Tone. Always wondered if you are using any pedals or go direct to the amp. You could make a Silvertone sound like a Super 400. By the way, just saw the Hollywood Bowl video. Talk about Jekyll and Hyde! I know how it is, sometimes you got to get the rock side out of your system! Shows you can fit in anywhere.
Thanks Robert! When I am playing traditional jazz on an archtop I always plug straight into the amp, no pedals. I do use the pedals for the rock stuff. At the Hollywood Bowl I used a Strymon Sunset distortion, a TC flashback delay, and an RC Booster into a Fender Twin Reverb.
The was great. Montgomery-inspired but clearly a Whiteman original. And played so confidently and clearly! All 3 sounded great.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Chris, as usual. Excellent sound, beautiful phrases, excellent feeling. Great trio. Congrats from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Great tune to start the day with! Love the simple silky smooth theme and the chordal solo and inset harmonies. Great rhythm section too! Thanks!
Thanks you Eric!
