- First of all, apologies about the audio. I’m ware that audio cuts out at 28.40 and comes back at 30.04. I’m working to figure out why that is. You don’t miss much. In short, I was talking about how relaxing the car is at the car is to drive home in at the end of the day and that I certainly recommend buying one.
Well, I bought the Cheapest V8, Manual Porsche in the country. A variant of Cayenne which not too many people know actually existed. What could possibly go wrong ?
Go easy on me. My first proper RUclips video and first time using the camera, equipment and editing software. I’ve already ordered a new mic.

Apologies about the loss of audio between 28.40 and 30.04. I’m trying to figure out why it’s happened, but you don’t miss much besides me waffling ! In short, I was talking about how relaxing the car is at the car is to drive home in at the end of the day and that I certainly recommend buying one.
The rear passenger door ashtray tops tend to go ‘sticky’.
Glad to see you’re going to improve the audio situation ! Besides that, what a great video, especially for a first time. I now want a first generation Cayenne ! Looking forward to more videos.
Stunning car and been a manual is definitely a nice touch. But I think I definitely bought the cheapest in the country 😊 feel free to check myn out. And keep up the great content. But then again myn isn’t quite without its problems
Nice work mate! This is definitely one of those marmite cars and its nice that you went into so much detail to educate on it. I bet this thing is way better with a manual too!
Very informative dude. Looking forward to the next vids 👍
Anyone know why some early 955s have the knurled interior aluminium trim and some have plain ale strips ? I’ve never seen one as an option.
Just toying with one of these. Don't do alot of miles so a v8 makes sense while we can. I prefer a l322 but there's just so much to go wrong and its litterly everything. The only thing that concerns me on the porsche is the coolant pipe modification, not exactly cheap but a must. Iam on a owners group and there's hardly any issues at all , nothing of great concerns unlike the l322 page which is constantly updated daily with questions it's embarrassing 😳
I think it’s certainly a case of luck. I got unlucky with the cayenne, though I’d like another. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as you might be interested in my upcoming content 🤫👍🏻
Nice vid (and car!), although you'll probably want a lapel mic of some sort before driving the M5 😁
Lapel Mic will be ready !
I would take a risk on this big bus
I see a red Rover :)
🎉👏🏼
Great Video mate!
Looking forward to more stuff soon!
🤘🏻😎🍻
Thank you !
I thought only base and gts cayenne variants could be specified with the manual; is this a 4.5 or 4.8?
It was a 4.5 S 👍
Let me know if you need any spare parts, like those missing jacking covers, or anything else. I got a complete car. Perhaps some alcantara headliner and side pillar covers would strike your fancy. Or a turbo gauge cluster (can be retrofitted as far as I know). Cheers.
I think the original Cayenne is the best car ever made tbh, lovely to drive, loads of power, in 6 years nothing ever went wrong. I wonder how long they will keep running. The new shapes have all adopted the generic soft medium sized look, this thing was a Beast as far as its road presence.
I've been looking at getting one of these and am currently interested in a 2008 3.6L 957 GTS S automatic. Any advice on what I should be checking for?
The 3.6 is a solid option. Very dependable. A GTS would certainly be more fun though ! I’d like to advise you but I fear I don’t give the greatest consumer advice 🤣
Always loved this generation of cayenne. I remember my neighbor surprising the whole block when he bought a Cayenne Turbo out of the blue XD. Fell in love right then and there. Love the video mate! Keep up the good work! ✌🏼
They certainly made an impact when they were new ! Thanks for the support 😎👍🏻
Wow that's rocking horse s**t right there. Can't believe there isn't an armrest though.
There is dude ! Have my arm resting on it, no pun intended haha. It’s a good armrest actually, just a little too far back in my opinion.
Thats so nice ! A 4.5 manual my uncle had a 4.5 was a usuall auto id love one eventually but will be manual if i ever do
The manual is certainly interesting. I think I’d have an auto if I was to buy another...
@@carsandcustard Must be one of the Rarest AWD manual suv just like the Subaru Forester SF5 s turbo there like 80% automatic but its a 3 speed Slushbox my s turbo was a manual but of course rust got it usuall Scotland sea side Subaru
