I am completely enamored. I was searching for a video of someone driving manual with no talking and found this video instead. Although you clearly had some explaining to do, I'm thoroughly impressed with how calm and soothing your demeanor is. Honestly I'm amazed. Especially considering that you're driving manual in dense traffic. You did great! And that's coming from someone who has lived in NYC and drives professionally (trucks) for a living! 👏🏽
What a wonderful surprise, I drive a BMW 5 speed sports wagon, been thinking to upgrade to a manual Cayenne. I love taking my beemer to NYC... something happens once I exit out of the Lincoln Tunnel, my mind goes into overdrive, it's a complete rush driving in the city.
You're a phenominal driver, and I like the quality and presentation of your videos although I'm only a new viewer (stumbled onto your channel after buying my own manual 2 weeks ago). I know you're not a instructional channel but I'd love to see something from you in that lane if I had to be specific down shifting. Regardless amazing channel I hope you get more traffic to it in the near future.
This comment made my day! Thank you so much! Congratulations on your purchase of a manual transmission! I’ll definitely plan on creating something in that lane! Thank you for the suggestion.
I’m thinking about living in east village and parking my 5 speed in a local lot. My cars a lot older though, 84 190e. Any thoughts on this? Coming from Cali and don’t wanna sell my baby.
Totally doable! I kept a car in the city with a long term solution. My buddy’s over at PaddockNYC can help you out! Amazing service and a great community!
Great video and I love your cayenne! however I was just curious; is it okay to put regular fuel in the cayenne considering I’ll be driving mostly in the city with the S model
Thanks for your share Alex ! nice and "clean" videos !! I`m whatching your 3 videos in Portugal. As you said, 3.2 Vr6 is the most realible cayenne, and i`m thinking in a manual cayenne also. What average MPG you reach with your manual 3.2 ? thanks one more time ! best regards from Portugal !
Somebody told me to export it to USA where car enthusiasts appreciate it. Somebody suggested to save it as a collectible then sell it later for more. You know keeping such a luxury vehicle run smoothly not a cheap option regarding the labour fees, spare parts, fuel consumption & travel 1000km every time. Confused 😐
Hey Alex, hey guys, I have the same as yours but mine is GTS v8 fully loaded, I love it & like it so much, it’s so fun to drive it & you feel so special, but the problem is I live in a small town in Saudi Arabia so when it’s broken or something went wrong with it I have to travel 1000 km to get it to a specialist mechanic. Finally I decided to sell it online and drop it off to a car showroom. Unlucky, nobody was care about it for long long time, and the last buyer gave me just 8k $. I’m not sure if I did the right choice. I still didn’t sell it officially. Any suggestions plz 🙏🏻
Meja Mesha it is a special care for sure, as many were not made. If it costs you more to maintain on a day to day basis, then you did the right thing in selling it.
Alex Beras thank you for replying ❤️ I will sell it then. It works very well but you know it’s 11 years old and because the weather is too hot the plastics, electrics, etc are consumed double the normal
I’m a Uber driver with a accord but it’s time for me to get a new vehicle I’m thinking of buying a manual but idk man it’s a long time wait I been wanting and now it’s the time to get it or get another auto car which in reality I don’t want

You're on the money with everything you have said.

Great video, super rare and unique car. Thanks for making this.
Are these really rare cars? Ive seen a decent amount here in brooklyn.
Excellent video, Alex!!! Very well spoken and an excellent driver!
Maxim’s DIY Garage Thank you so much! I appreciate it!

It calls for premium fuel even though it’s still the base model with the VR6. With the 8, the engine management systems still run better with premium.
@@AlexBeras okay bet! Thank you bro 🔥
@@blazeziken4200 for sure!🙏🏾🥂
In terms of safety while using as a tow vehicle, the manual is much more preferable
I only watched 30 seconds and I was impressed
Thank you!! Truly appreciative!!

Thank you so much! Manual Cayenne is a great choice! I was able to normally get 17 to 18 mpg, but in heavy traffic it’s about 12-13 mpg.
So nice!!!

Meja Mesha if running costs continue to rise, you were wise to sell.
manual is good, I want one also, however mine is Auto Transmission

It’s worth getting the manual! Nothing wrong with an automatic. But just think of all the fun you’ll have!
@@AlexBeras thanks man I loved your video btw keep it up brother !
It would be nice if a video showed how to select reverse gear in your 2012 6-speed Cayenne
Frederick Roth I’ll make that video!
Scared see you drive in nyc
Martha Beras lets go for a spin🙃🚗💨
Well said
Thank you!!
do you think driving a manual in NYC is a good idea?
Always a great idea. No chance to pick up the phone while driving.
What's the year of that car
The year is 2006. 1st gen!
👍
I Love Brasil
