Working in retail whether u want to or not, you get to know people. I worked retail 7 years ago n alot of people still to this day stop n chat and say they remember me. Its lovely
They always treated me like a number. No matter how you exceeded expectations, was pleasant to talk to, or took the initiative, you were always employee 0530.
Yep and in my store, being white AND heterosexual was a double whammy against me! I didn’t mind being the minority, I knew I was the CSM that EVERYONE preferred to work with but I also knew that I’d always just be the favorite underpaid csm as long as I worked there bc I couldn’t be promoted.
But why do I get the impression she feels like a police officer who is retiring. She’s doing the message from a car with a bulletproof partition behind her with the radio in her hand. 10 years is a long time but I’ve known people who worked at Walmart a lot longer. Good luck Gail, and thank you for your services❤😂
Normally most Wal-Mart employees rage quit over the store loud-speakers for being treated badly and being underpaid. This is the first RUclips clip I've seen where someone is HAPPY working at Wal-Mart.
Don’t disrespect Gail Lewis like that… kept aisle 10 shoplifter free for ten years, most tackles on a Black Friday, saved the store millions Undisputed Walmart goat
I really wish this woman well in her future job. I can totally understand her emotions with moving on to what may be a more profitable job, but at the same time, she will miss the atmosphere and faces of her old workplace. May God bless and enable success for her!
@@Funfredthehalloweenlover5678 It was her choice to leave her job, no one made her do it, if her crying was actually real id be impressed since she didnt have to make the choice
Good, I don't buy ammo from there anymore bc there's usually no one at the sporting goods counter and I have to find a random ass employee thats just stocking shelves just for them to call someone on the PA system.
What they're not telling you is she had to quit because the manager of the store would make the employees fight in mma style matches in the backroom for extra hours and she suffered a concussion and was shamed for not going the distance and couldn't work after the mental and physical trauma
High five Gail. I took quit my retail job after 14 long years. It was a bittersweet moment. I accomplished my goal I had set 5 years ago and I have been able to move on.
Gail is out here doing the most, when I quit my job last year, i showed up 45 minutes late, cussed out one of my coworkers, went to lunch and didn’t come back.
I've been working at my job at a hotel since 2011 on - call just for high school credit until I was hired 2013. I didn't expect to work there that long, But I met a lot of good people all over the world who became my second family every time they come back and visit along the side of my Co Workers. This year will be my last day working there I will be leaving in two months which It will be heartbreaking because I learned so much from this company. But now it's time for me to get back on track to chase my goal. So I understand her completely it's very sad to leave everything and everyone behind but we all have to start living our dreams someday.
Congratulations on your new job. That's amazing you had great bosses and coworkers at Walmart. I hope you build a long lasting relationship with your new job.
With the gear on she looks like she was a fellow cart pusher! I really do miss being the caretaker for the lot. So many great interactions with customers and especially coworkers!
What the eff? Vanity and attention from social media has gone way too far. Police officers final call out? Yes. Walmart employee? No. My goodness 🤦🏽♀️
Hello 911. I have a call about to many jealous, trying to be funny and stupid people now a days that can't even show support for a person who is leaving her work that she knew all the people their. 😑
I'd hire this extraordinary, loyal woman in a heartbeat ❤! Wal-Mart has lost an invaluable employee and should have matched whatever she gained by accepting another job after a decade of service. Maybe they tried/It doesn't say here. Wal-Mart Headquarters should reward her with a monetary gift for the thousands of PR she is generating with her hits. ✨May God bless you in your new job✨
She did 10 black Friday tours and was a part of Sale Team 6. Thank you for your service!
Sale Team 6? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sales team 6 😂😂😂😂😂 dude
Haha....

She was there for their walmarts first opening deals
Truly a Walmart hero.

She’s not going to miss the job at all- she’s going to miss the people at the job.
exactly what I was thinking

Yup same here
Period!
I worked at Wallyworld and I miss the nostalgia of going to work there. Not much the peeps :/
Regardless of how we all feel about Wal-Mart there’s always going to be somebody that it means something profound to them

could not care less*. If they could care less, that would imply there is at least some care they have.
Because of the CEO??
Indeed true but the work ethic is commendable, she cared about her job and that deserves nothing but respect.
She is the true definition of an American Hero. I’ll give you my customized Medal of Honor.
Give her the purple cart
