It has nothing to do with the castellans but i noticed this remake does not fill ammo when upgrading ammo capacity cause they saw how abused it could be lol. It makes me kind of sad especially not using the cat ears for minamilist. At this point on the island ive realized i have completely under utilized the knife

Well thankfully I'll be able to get the last one for 16 then on my minamalist and frugalist playthrough go back and get the one for chapters 1 and 4 and blaze through with the infinite rocket launcher on assisted for the silent stranger trophy then s+ professional for the platinum since the difficulty trophies inly stack with professional
This is actually one of the easier implementations of this type of collectible I've ever seen in resident evil there was only 2 left that I couldn't find it's usually closer to 5-8 stragglers before I'm forced to look anything up

Missed the one on top of the castle as I was more concerned with the giant tossing boulders, the one under the stairs in the Clock Tower and the sneakiest location during the island escape run because you know the countdown timer thing onscreen :)
For those confused as to where that room in Chapter Five, in Village Chief’s Manner is, it's in the master bedroom, in the secret attic. The switch is on the right side as soon you enter, behind the second portrait. Click the X button or whatever the interaction is on the console of your choice, cheers. Happy hunting!
I usually take my time with games. I'm not a 100% completionist, but I like to enjoy what the game has to offer. That said, I've only managed to find 3 in the castle. These bastards are well hidden.
I had 15/16 and only missed the one at the very end while escaping the island. I was bummed I missed it I thought I could find them all without needing a guide
On my second run I’m trying to get all treasures + clockwork castellans it’s driving insane 🤦🏻♀️ but the good thing is you can complete where you left off destroying the clockwork castellans ( i think like mr raccoon)

I'm going through and marking off the ones I recognize as "got", the ones I know I missed, and the ones I need to check. Hopefully I can finish it off easily on my NG+ playthrough (meantime I may load up a few saves to check some that are nearby).
*I got 14 of them on my blind playthrough, also S ranked all the Shooting Range, which tells you i defintely didnt beat it in 8 hours the first time. But give me a few, back in 2005 and 6 me and my buddies no lifed RE4 and Mercinaries, i got a score of 23million with Wesker on the Castle stage which got us the Hand cannon. So many memories, im more than happy with this remake. I was worried they may make it too short, but now im wondering just how ill beat in under 8 hours.*

They really tried to pull a fast one with that last one, I caught em all during my first play through, almost went all the way to the jet ski without checking for it, I wouldn't have caught it without this video, especially with the countdown. I just finished the game, and this has to be the game of the year, they outdid themselves with this, another RE classic in the books.

One in the hedge maze was only one I heard and didn't know where it was coming from. Dunno if my screen was too dark but threw a grenade behind the boxes to see if it was there. They've done something like that before in Revelations 2. Glad to know the location now

i got like 2 normally then i learned what the reward is and i actually got all of the ones close to the finish so on my 2nd playthrough i'll have the knife at like chapter 10 maybe sooner. and i can confirm you can get them in later chapters if you backtrack i got the battlements one the following chapter thanks so much for the vid really helped
@@David91690yes once you go through the story it will give you the option to take another path around. Just don't forget and back track if you have 2nd thoughts

J'ai pris le jeu day one et jusqu'à maintenant je n'ai toujours pas trouvé toutes les statuettes, ni saigné le jeu à 100% en terme de complétion/réalisations/achièvments et pas encore lancé les modes annexes Separate Ways et Mercenaires par manque de temps. Je joues très lentement quand j'ai l'occasion et j'avais adoré la version vanilla Ngc de 2005, c'était un sacré jeu n'empêche, très avant-gardiste je trouve et marquant comme jamais. Merci beaucoup mon ami pour le repérages des statuettes, tu gères un max 🤓👍❤, au top.

Erm.... the castellan in chapter 14 isnt there. Ive followed this guide to the letter. The only one i had before starting this guide was chapter 1 castellan. Whats going on? Every chapter it went up by 1, being 13/16 because chapter 1 wasnt there as thats the one i had. I got to this point in chapter 14 and theres nothing on top of the locker but the base of the castellan. Wtf???

Interestingly enough I ended up getting the Handcannon through The Mercenaries mode. It didn’t take to long to get.

If you did miss a doll, you can load up a previous save, get the doll, then reload to your current spot and it’ll count towards the 16 still.
Can i recollect it in a new game+?

Beat a chapter and scroll through chapter results. It tells you which you have
There's a certain subtitle setting that says mechanical cadence whenever you get close to one making it easier to find

Reload a save. You don't have to get them all in order or grab it on the next playthrough
