As per the April 6, 2023 TWAB, I'll no longer be having Destiny 2 cutscenes on the channel. I know a lot of people came here for when their game crashed or had issues playing them. I was as quick as possible to have them up for that purpose, while keeping them spoiler-free. But they seem to be uploading all of them to their own channel now, and have requested that people leave it to them. I'm assuming the seasonal story compilations like this are still fine, along with including the cutscenes within those. So I will continue posting these for the foreseeable future, unless Bungie request otherwise.

I love how our guardian has become kind of a Doom Slayer for hive ghosts considering how many we’ve squished
after a decade of dealing with the bullshit of the darkness and hive it's kind of expected.
Our guardian grabbing Immaru and almost crushing him was pretty badass

I can picture the words of our guardian as he holds Immaru by the balls (literally): “If you keep talking shit, I will crush your ghosty ass like a solo cup at a frat party on “Pledge Night”! I’ve killed FAR MORE dangerous and cunning motherfuckers than you. Made a weapon out of two of them. Because I’m not cunning…I’m crazy. I am wrath given physical form, and given the two deadliest weapons to ever exist: WILL and DESIRE. And I have plenty of BOTH. Remember that, Immaru.”.

That scene with the guardian grabbing immaru had me rolling
Eris Morn: “Ah, classic Savathun, leaving behind echoes of the past, anticipating our every move, even in death”.
Immaru: “Lady, She just left some pre-recorded messages behind incase you decided to help us kill her sister in exchange for us helping you deal with the Witness. Don’t need to overthink things”
The idea that Savathun just had a tape recorder to tape these messages and just put a PA system in her tower is hilarious.
I just have this mental image now of Savathun going around doing normal day-to-day things (making a cup of coffee, cutting the grass, catching up on her favourite soap opera, etc), and Eris just stalking her the whole time, pondering what sordid scheme it all leads to.
I mean TO BE FAIR knowing her it'd likely STILL LEAD to something. The start of a brand new day in her new Lucent Throneworld.... and driving Eris nuts trying to figure it out what it meant.@@ShawndaPrawn

That felt so good watching immaru nearly get crushed by the guardian.
Eris' cutscene was badass, but I can't help but laugh at how our Guardian quickly went to grab Immaru. I had guessed 3 weeks into the story before our patience ran thin, but we were like, "You talking shit in front of me, Ikora, and Eris? Hell naw"
The way immaru growled after guardian released him is just too good ...perfect 🗿
What caught my interest in the Eris Cutscene was the name "Sel". It was uttered alongside Akka and Xita, and we know those two are Worm Gods. One is dead, the other comatose in Rhulk's Pyramid. If there was a Worm Mother (Xita), is Sel the name of the father of the five Worm Gods?
I wonder if he could have been the Leviathan on FUNDAMENT

Possibly one of the worms that was killed during the “culling” that Ahsa escaped.
Xita is probably dead now, so it's safe to assume Sel is also dead.

Oh so we're just casually making Eris Mourn a hive god which is gonna lead to her betraying us like in the dark future lorebook. Cool.
She only betrayed us in the dark future because she was corrupted by stasis. That whole future has been avoided because Elsie guided Eris and other guardian in how to use stasis without being corrupted.

At the end with veil containment and osiris saying that the light and darkness potentially use to be one it makes sence. That could've been the destiny's universes version of the big bag. Maybe the explosion was caused by their seperation

It feels nice to truly go on the attack for once, most seasonal activities we're on defense or retaliation for lost resources or territory

yooooo eris' transformation is insane
We’ve tamed the vex…shook hands with fallen and became splicers, We gained an alliance with the cabal and learned the light suppression tech and now we become the acolyte of hive under Eris possibly becoming an new god of the hive possibly becoming the new witch queen all to end Xivu so we can finally open the way to get into the portal inside the traveler
All caught up for the week. Time to go play a fun game.

I love how bungie completely forgot about the vex when they are literally the most powerful species and all the universes
The vex’s power is circumstantial.
When they are fighting causal forces, like humans pre-guardians, they are able to perform complex simulations with planet-sized quantum supercomputers and basically create a plan for literally anything their opponent can possibly do. This makes it impossible for a causal force to overcome the Vex, they have a plan for everything you can possibly do.
The problem the Vex has is that their ability to simulate their opponents ONLY works when their opponent is purely causal. If they try to simulate ANYTHING paracausal, the entire simulation has an aneurism and dies, giving no useful information.
TLDR: The Vex have an instant-win button that only works against causal groups. Against paracausal groups, like the guardians/hive, their instant-win button doesn’t work, so they are forced to fight war the old-fashioned way.
This is actually why Quoria was so important, as she was the ONE OF if not the ONLY Vex to ever figure out how paracausalty worked.
Vex are powerful, but the current story has like, 5-7 different paracausal armies running around. It is not safe for the vex right now.

I could be wrong, I will have to read in game lore again, but I am pretty sure in one of the lore books, it basically said that this would happen and the outcome would be the hive magic taking over Eris. I think it was in one of the older lore books in the lore tab... Again I could be wrong so don't take this seriously either.
Why does Savathun’s ghost sound like he’s in the mob and has just “got out of the joint”
For some reason I can't start Invoke, I have the season pass, I have every step leading up to Invoke but when I try to do it I get out into normal altars game mode, not sure what's going on, I even closed the application and got back in, hoping someone else had a fix

Completely wait for both timers at the end of savathun's spire, the mission and commendations. First time I got a black screen after doing that and I missed the cutscene, but on my second character it worked

That what is said. Ghost did say Immaru used to bully newer and “younger” Ghosts implying Immaru is kinda like the Leader of the Ghost and ancient.
@@FaizanMalik-kd8lk While he is implied to be an "older" ghost (it isnt known how much, only that the ghosts were all made at a similar ish time) the title first ghost refers to him being the first to give the light to Hive/Savathun.
