It's funny to see Jello about to put Neuvillette and Arlecchino -- the two best DPS in the game -- up in the T0 tier before realizing that would make the central point of his video incorrect. So then he needs to put a tier below that and then say, "see Kazuha is best only for niche characters." Uhm....no, Jello, no. He's best for Neuvillette and Arlecchino full-stop, not only team DPS on paper but also in practice due to his grouping.

yes, kazuha is indeed a must pull. As someonw has has 2 AR 55+ accounts; one with kazuha and one without. I can promise you that the only unit i can feel the absence of as much as kazuha is zhongli. He is the only unit i would consider to be a must pull, the quality of life is provides is insane

Nah, maybe it's like that to you. I have 2 accounts as well. 1 with kazuha and 1 without kazuha. And the only character I felt like I needed in both is kokomi. In fact the account without kazuha performs amazing. 36 stars in the abyss for the last IDK how many patches, completed imaginary theatre with stars in every act. So, I've never felt kazuha is a must pull. He's top tier character but he's way overrated

If you can take a bit of constructive criticism, in all of your videos you mention Furina too much. Some people don’t have her and it can get very frustrating when every team you mention “needs” her.

I don't really hate or love kazuha but when I'm playing with navia and i have to run around to kill scattered enemies. I was like : if i had kazuha it'll be easy just group them and one shot them with navia instead of running around and wait for navia E cooldown .

I played without kazuha until 4.5 rerun. It was fine for me without him but after having him it's definitely a change for my account despite having many 5 stars. So yeah in short I'll say he is definitely one of those characters who are worth pulling
I think for new/not so new players that don't have Kazuha, it's always better to get him over the other 5star if they are not cracked as Neuvillette or Arlecchino, as Kazuha will definitely help your account in the long run.
For me, a C0 Kazuha is a must-have, but you don't need his constellations. So you can save your pulls for Mualani, or skip (if you want) for later banners.

I understand what you're saying, but listen everyone....NO ONE is a must-pull. That's the thing, like everyone was saying Neuvi was a must-pull when he came out but I was fine without him...then picked him up on his re-run. So if nobody is a must-pull, then it really just becomes about getting who you will enjoy on your team. I still love Kazuha because his burst is extremely satisfying to use ... that zoom in to his sword being pulled out and then WHIP...then you're in a whirlwind of elements...it's still one of the coolest experiences to this day.

Since I've built double hydro vape, Nilou bloom, Chev overload, I haven't touched Kazuha except when I feel like running freeze just for fun.
Idk, I've built most of those teams...all of them, now that I have Nilou, and while Kazuha's use has dropped, he's still my go to anemo character whenever there are 2+ enemies, and sometimes even on bosses. Xiphos on him, even my R1, is also providing the ER utility, about 10% ER to everyone and 30-35 to Kazuha himself is really nice. So, it really depends on the player now
Same, i guess if we use these kinds of teams ,kazuha is just a skip, i use double hydro vape, hyperbloom, and raiden national, and kazuha is just not going to perform as good as other options in those teams.

Kazuha’s value goes down by a little just because at this stage of Genshin, there’s tons of teams evolving and those teams might have their BIS character already but when there’s a situation where you need anemo vv shred or grouping unit, he still does his job best and almost guarantee you a faster clear in abyss

Even with Kazuha i envy those Venti havers. I definitely can't imagine dealing with Floor 11 without at least Kazuha (Sucrose helps but not as much as Kazuha).
I don't have Sucrose, Venti or Kazuha so I'm basically hard gated at 11-1 aside from todays reset. With the way four star banners have been I don't think I'll ever see Sucrose rated up so Kazuha it is.

Kazuha is still top. He makes my life so much better. There is hardly an abyss where I wouldnt like to have 2 of him. Best pull of 5.0.
I went a year without Kazuha during Fontaine and only recently got him.
He's still close to a must pull. His CC just makes abyss easier.
Never used Kazuha, not planning to. Venti loyalist forever.
Raiden is a great sub-DPS, I use her exclusively as a sub-DPS for Alhaithem and Navia and I think she's great for that. I'd 100% recommend her as a sub-DPS without any constellations or 5-star weapons whatsoever

If your argument is that "Kazuha is not a required character to make X team good", then why bother pulling characters at all? You can beat the entire game from start to finish without pulling for any 5-star character. You can clear abyss with 2 teams of 4-star only characters. You can beat the new "end game" with your roster + whatever free characters you are given via friends and trial characters.

Even wanderer are better. And for venti it at least higher and you can bring your entire teammate in coop.

the whole "you don't need kazhua" is dishonest: the roster is so wide you can build teams in so many different ways that each single char has less pull value just because of sheer numerosity
I get what you mean, but there are units who are objectively more doodoo than others if you care about meta (e.g. Kokomi vs Sigewinne) so Jello's logic still stands
My biggest problem with any Anemo unit is that I don’t see the damage benefits that they allegedly bring, all they do according to me is being good crowd control units and that’s also not good since big units ignore the suction effects

You didn't notice why Kazuha always released or rerun with DPS characters, like Klee in 1.6, Yoimiya in 2.8, Alhaitham in 3.7, Neuvillette in 4.5, and Mualani in 5.0, because for me Kazuha is very overrated than Raiden Shogun, i'm not say he's a bad character, but Kazuha is not must-pull for me as an Archon collector

“Needed for best team, but can get away without”- the vast majority of supports in the game will have alternatives that can fill their slot, including your #1 character in the game, Furina. But I hardly hear you talk about how replaceable she can be in many of her teams. The tiers aren’t accurate, either- many of characters you placed in the “needed for best team” tier can “technically” get away without Kazuha as well, for example Keqing can absolutely use Sucrose or Zhongli in single target.
I think your tierlist almost has the opposite of its intended effect, though- it illustrates that the majority of units, including many really solid teams, still want Kazuha. Personally, I don’t like calling anyone in the game a must-pull because character value is account dependent. I also think that a characters’ ability to function well without Kazuha is a plus, because we only have one of him, and there are two sides of abyss. But for around half of the characters in the game, Kazuha remains a high-value pull. I agree that people shouldn’t be pulling Kazuha without making sure that the characters they wish to play can use him, but I think that “lmao xD Furina buff better, plus we might get more buffers in Natlan, who knows!” is neither accurate nor is it constructive advice.

Nah, nothing is a must pull esp not Kazuha when Sucrose exists. You can kinda say Nahida or Neuvillete is a must pull but that also feels wrong on Nahida and kinda on Neuv. Every other 5 star has a good 4 star alternative

@@luckypatil453 they can use kazuha as buffer. Just like they can use Furina+Jean for buff+heal+subdps. Doesn't make it a must pull. Not having Kazuha or Venti doesn't change my experience in anyway, and half the time i don't even use Sucrose.
Also, for atk scaler who also use em, like Arlecchino, TToDS Sucrose is better than Kazuha, so he's absolute not a must pull

Not really stupid, I don’t like Eula but I can’t use her without raiden cuz of electro application and energy recharge while dealing ok dmg. Idk if there are better options but raiden is a nice character to have anyways.

I can see your point on why you don't think Kazuha is a must pull anymore. For casual players that maybe the case but if you plan on playing spiral Abyss then I really think he is worth pulling just caz u can clear the floors so smoothly with him. I really love my Kazuha and even if another char comes that power creeps him having 2 Kazuhas is still gonna be a blessing.

Oh can you please consider doing an updated list (ideally for all characters, I personally found this refreshing as I never want to pull for Kazuha, and see such value in comparisons for all characters and potential teammates - ah gosh so sad I still need to identify who I want to use instead of him for my Neuvillette and Clorinde - I play “Fontaine Supremacy” as I call it currently with Neu, Furina, Clorinde, and Navia, though I know Navia isn’t ideal and I’d love to find a better combo while getting to incorporate most of these characters) upon Natlan’s release/tested observations of new best teams or great synergies?

My main hype for Natlan is using Kachina with Itto. My team needed a fourth unit for the third Geo for Gorou, then Furina for the damage and buffs with Crystalize
Always appreciate how analytical and nuanced you are and your provided rationale and insight, this is an exceptionally great video upon the releases prior to Natlan to help us strategically use our pulls or save (most of Natlan does not appeal to me in character design so it’s a blessing in a way, as I need to save everything for the hopeful Capitano) - nice work Angelo!
Kazuha works with literally everybody I put him with. His exploration is insane as he can jump high. His ult and e are low cool down and are so cool to look at. If you want the BEST support in the game pull him. I would put him on the same tier as archons such as Raiden, Nahida rightfully taking his place as amongst the best units in the game.
I use Keqing with Zhongli and i prefer that way.
But Kazuha is always on, with Yelan+Kokomi or Neuv.
If kazuha is not a must pull then everyone else isn't too

I think we should get sidegrades first that do slightly different things, for example, buffing and res shread but different element or grouping with some other utility that isnt dmg bonuses

Bennet and Xinyan are the two other 4 stars joining Mualani and Kazuha's banner. Having C6 benny and Xinyan being Xinyan, this fills me with dread. I'm not too thrilled to get more copies of either one while pulling for Mualani. Might skip if I lose the 50/50

I just finished Kazuhas story quest. I’ve really loved his aesthetic since I met him. And now that I have the really pretty sword from the quest I’ve wanted to get him and play him. He seems really cool.
I think his value is that he's so universally good on so many teams. Like Bennet. I would never hesitate to recommend him based on that.

That could even be Hoyo's strategy - get people to spend on Kazuha and then in a couple of patches they introduce a replacement. Would explain why he is running so soon after his last appearance
