Going back a few months to catch up, and I found Ben clean shaven, haircut, looking good my friend. Love the drop shot as it is definitely my confidence bait. OSP DoLive Stick (and Minnow) and the Reins Bubbring Shaker are my favorite baits in this video. Thanks Ben/Hook Up Tackle. 🎣👍
Be awesome to know your go to drop shot bait in each category, ie worm, minnow, paddle tail and X. My challenge is that I have a pile of drop shot baits that I never use, either because I have no confidence, or because I have too many overlapping styles of baits. My goals this winter is to pare my drop shot baits down to three or four, to concentrate my drop shot fishing (and fishing expenditures) to a more manageable spectrum of baits, ie roboworm for my worn style baits, X for minnow style bait, X for paddle tail style bait etc. I still haven't found a true confidence bait in any category, so I would like to hear your go to drop shot bait for each category of drop shot baits. Thanks
Ben, you could sell a woman wearing white gloves a ketchup popsicle!! All kidding aside, you guys are great and so glad you made a youtube channel. People just dont get good info on JDM tackle and you guys bring it to us and in a very detailed and informative manner. Please keep making these videos.
I see Deps in the far back corner of tackle shops here in South Korea. With that generic looking package I always thought they were like the Walmart brand of soft plastics. And how the hell can a product from Canada be considered JDM?
Nishine helped build some of the most iconic baits in Japan, and moved his company to Canada a few years ago to be closer to giant smallmouth. He’s as Japanese of a lure maker as they come.
Great video, I’ve been using JDM baits for years. I absolutely love the quality and style. I’ve been crushing it with the Deps kincoo Air
Awesome man! Stoked the Deps is working for you too!
