All I have is a 8” Helix on the bow with 2D and DI. It worked when following up on missed top water bites and blind casting in the areas I was fishing the top water. The rest of the day I was picking fish of with a drop shot I saw on DI
Dude you give the most detail on lures of anyone. Your a hard core fisherman too and that helps you to know what we need from the lure. You also are on top of what's new. What pound test line for each technique would be a great video too. Thanks man for the hard work.
thanks man, i try to keep it real and just tell what I see. I'm not always perfect about it but just trying to share my take. i run 10lbs flouro leader to 12lbs braid this time of year, in the cold months though i go down to 8lbs leader.
Man Mike I wished u still lived in Florida and fished the Harris Chain. I live in Daytona Bch and miss ur old videos down here. I remember the video where u and ur buddy caught like 48lbs five fish limit cranking deep plugs. I fished the chain a few times when I was a kid. I fished Apopka a lot from the shore back when it was still polluted. I actually always caught fish back then too. I fished Apopka's spring that was cool. I hope u come down and do some more videos like old times. Thanks for ur videos. U have some really technical videos u really explain things for people in very simple ways.
On the RAID Japan YT channel you can see the rigging specifics for each bait down to make and model on the hooks. Been getting the 4inch to roll more predictably by passing the hook through the first notch in top of the head to the honey combs

You should check out the hook up tackle, they’re all about JDM baits and I believe they already have the drift fry. They usually get baits before Tacklewarehouse
My guy I ordered them driftfry over two months ago and are on back order till September. Which was expected but am super excited to get them just in time for the water to start cooling down
10:05 the “Super fish roller” 5”-6”.. were revamped to the previous smaller ones. They are built FOR the Owner Range Roller, they too have spots on TOP of the head to run the hook and spots on its back where it’ll come up. There’s three spots you can place the jig head to get more of a hover presentation or a fall head first presentation, but effortless to get that “rolling” action…. I’m catching fish blind casting open water with them(I know the depth and layout goodntbohave been doing quite well.

Try fishing the 5 inch drift fry on a 1/4 oz head and keep your rod low to the water with tiny twitches. Most baits you keep ur rod up high. Saw Kyoya doing this. Thanks for all the great videos.
I grew up on salmon and steelhead in rivers out west. Then fished all over the world for 15 years. Now in TN, Ive been gearing up and learning bass fishing over the last year or so. The Japanese stuff is SOOO much better . Moves better , hooks so sharp they hook the fish from a foot away. Jackall, Megabass, Geecrack Bellows swimmers plus Net Bait goop. And of course, the greatest topwater lure, the Uma Deathroll. Nothing better than walking to the bank after the suns way up, topwater is done, until that Deathroll gets dragged around. All the Skeeters are like " Gull durnit !! What in tarnation is that thingamajig ?? " " Japanes you say ?? What the hell would they know 'bout bucketmouths ?? " LOL, I tell ya. The real fun is when the Skeeters ask the inevitable question, " how much is something like that ? " I try to tell em they dont want to know. I really do. But the literal explosion when I tell em $89.99 is beyond hilarious. Sometimes being a fishing snob is really entertaining.
Can you do a video on the ZooPop and ZooDog baits? With them having the soft body and the frog hooks I would think you could throw them into any type cover? I would love to see them in action on some lay downs and tops. I’m out with shoulder surgery so your videos is what I have now! Help me out bro!😂🎣

If not mistaken the only zoodog was the white belly gold/ black back. jackall driftfry is cheap here in Korea, about 7dollars a pack. I actually like the fishroller more than the driftfry, I do like the elastomer driftfry
