I love this song and the album it came from, "Breakaway". I was in college and had broken up with the love of my life, I listened to this album...... a lot.
This is one of the most covered Stevie WOnder songs from his album entitled "Talking Book". I love the fact that different people have fond memories from various artists doing such a great job on this tune.

Wonderful voice, sad that all those shows were lip-synced back then. Thanks to Mick Jagger & Jim Morrison. You can tell that social dancing had been dropped from the H.S. curriculum by the 70's. So many kids swinging and swaying around in their own worlds. They were reminiscent of a school of Moray Eels.

you could tell he's very anxious. (I think it's adorable, and understandable!) He had admitted he does not like singing in front of people... He has always had stage fright. Listen to the studio version. He really belts it out.
