I heard Tiger is still bouncing around at the old age of 80 after following a ketogenic diet.
Pooh Bear unfortunately followed Drs advice and died at 65 from CKD after decades of battling diabetes and slowly failing health. Could barely walk from the excess weight and edema, had several toes removed, autoimmune skin conditions everywhere, teeth rotted out, arthritis, blind in one eye, etc, etc. By the end he looked like he was ready to go, very sad.
Unfortunately dumping the honey was "too restrictive" and "radical" of a diet change.

If you have never been on a mini rebounder, try it first for 15 - 20 minutes with weights, then let people know. I think it will surprise you.

I wonder if there is any advice for someone with a bad neck. This sounds like important exercises to add to my regimen, but I can't bounce off the ground, it's too hard on my neck.

But ultimately, the neck is not the type joint that should be handling multiples of body weight transitions. You can increase mobility, flexibility, endurance, and strength. Depending upon your specific needs or ability these avenues hopefully will help mitigate some or most of your pain symptoms.
