    Man that's brave to face a hungry polar bear to try save another he risked his life and came so close to losing it brave doesn't mean their fearless it means the fear is real but they act still..

    Very lucky & beautiful young lady! I’m glad that man was there to save her life. Polar bears are the most dangerous bears in the world. They are at the very top of the food chain on land.

      As someone who lives in bear country (had to scare one off the grandparents lawn last summer with the pickup truck, whilst my grandmother smoked cigarettes 10 feet away from him and watched him pig out on our neighbours garbage, haha), I couldn't imagine living somewhere where they have rats.

      A: He's got good taste and Erin was too Greene.
      The sign said "Don't walk in this area."
      It should say "RUN in this area!"
      I am so glad Erin has decided to stop roaming that area of town at 5:00 a m.
      But I still am afraid for her. Old habits die hard.
      I bet they get tired of all that snow.
      Still, having a shovel handy kept Erin from being another snow angel.
      I feel bad they had to put that bear down.
      But they get beary heavy.
      I'm glad this story bears good news.
      At a bare minimum they got a new rug and a nice Bear -B- Q out of it.

      @@lizmonard Good point. Me too. When you get a fatal disease from a mosquito you probably don't feel the terror that you would from a bear attack. The terror would come much later as you are fading away.
