R.i.p, those ideas were really just the tip of the iceberg anyway.
There were other OWAF ideas that I enjoyed more than the enemies like the rooms that shift walls and open other pathways and the Beaver Mummy.
The only character that Im curious about is the beaver, its unknown if he will come back

4:44 i definitely feel the same way, like, there's a lot more games that have influenced me more and in bigger ways. I didnt even play the games at the time, i was still at an age where its like "horror scary and bad dont look at it" but it was an unavoidable cultural phenomenon and i wish i did actually play the games when they came out. Anyway, its just everything behind this game, a Christian developer trying to make a game, given criticism, but instead of sulking in that he used it. he heard "eww this looks like a creepy animatronic!" and figured, "hey im good at making creepy animatronics!"

Imagine OWAF is only about Flumpty's birthday, and 5 fives are only about characters setting up all the food and props for his birthday.
It could represent the actual anniversary the franchise had. Although Flumpty will not appear until Night 5, because he is busy doing something nonsensical and personal.

Whatever happens, everyone will love what you’ll do with ONAF 3. Your humour and talent is unmatched, and of course the community loves Flumpty, but they love you too and I know they can’t wait for your personal projects to come into the light.

@@fluxcptndavey4378 A demo that he oddly is treating just like the debug builds; Once a demo is made, it isn't really changed while the game continues development, yet YandereDev continues updating it like before, just with the easter eggs menu hidden until the game's completed.
Yandere Simulator is being developed so slowly (and videos show how much of a glitchy mess it can be), so I don't see it being finished in many years. Well, that, or it doesn't get finished at all.
I mean, yandev made a really good cover up for why it wasn't done yet by saying "i made all i wanted while making osana" wich would be a good cover up if he'd didn't slack off as much
Considering Jon said one of his favorite ideas from OWaF was the Beaver being a mummy, and not being mentioned in things from OWaF that will be removed, I really REALLLY hope the Beaver will return, he is my favorite Flumpty character actually

Scott made a real wise decision here. Instead of fighting against fan games, he knows they will keep the franchise alive for much longer with a wider variety of gameplay/visual styles than he could come up with. (e.g Jollibee's Phase 2)

He knows that fangames have kept the series alive between games, and with the games getting bigger and more complex, and the time between games getting longer, he knows that fangames need to be encouraged to keep the genre alive and pump in fresh ideas and inspiration.
Im happy your making a third one. ONAF 2 is not just my favorite fnaf fan game, but also my favourite fan game ive ever played.

This is the best timeline to be alive in. Scott really has brightened up 2020 for these people and us fans of their work.
I respect the fact that even though you never wanted to make this game people requested it and you did it anyways.

I do generally hope the development of this game is not really stressful knowing alot of people are going to hype this game by alot and I'm pretty excited to see what future projects you work on after this!

This was my favorite FNAF fan game! I’m a big fan of lore but I like that this game just decides to transcend lore. And I am a HUGE fan of the character designs! 2D Art is just so underrated in most mediums, especially games. Im excited to see what you do after ONAF’s as well!

Idk if you'd remember me or not, but about 7 years ago I emailed you for a school project about interviewing you for a school project. As weird as it sounds, this goofy fnaf clone helped to inspire me to become a game dev. Now, 7 years later, I just started my freshman year of college for Software Engineering and game design. End of the day man: you've done more than enough for everyone and just do what makes you happy for this game :). People will be attracted to it's as long as you are personaly content man so don't stress

Glad to see you're coming back with some energy and wanting to bring in that sense of closure, and what a move by Scott to let fan games flourish like this. I hope all the evil referential humor makes it into the console ports of 1 and 2 (the vivisected Piglet and whatnot).

It gives me so much joy and satisfaction just to have any news related with my past favorite Middle school franchise (and fan-game franchises) that is actually new. I'm not sad that this will be the last game Flumpty game. I'm happy for you, Jonochrome and proud of you for giving your fan series a proper end. I fully respect your decisions, opinions, and reasons for this whole video. It has all been a real treat to see how far 1 Horror game series exploded to many different fans making their own based upon the original idea. Man, I honestly still can't believe it has been 6 years already. I can still remember a lot of what happened in those days.

Scott Cawthon is like a reverse Nintendo. He's helping passionate fangame creators and helping them even make a profit. Such a legend, i don't even like fnaf that much anymore but Scott Cawthon is still one of my favourite developers ever.
