sometimes she isnt good live. its rehearsing that can blow your voice out. she was epic on the original. underrated singer indeed. id see her no matter what. she's raspy because she had vocal surgery in the mid 70's to me it just made her sound better. listen to her very first song my my honeycomb she wasnt raspy. but there is only one raspy person thats better than bonnie that is kim carnes she has not changed.
It's incredible that her voice hasn't gone away after abusing that hoarse singing style of hers. I would even argue that she sounds better here than she has ever done. She sings like a metal singer with the way her voice is growling, but it NEVER breaks. On top of that she has to nail vibrato notes and she does it great. Bonnie Tyler is easily one of my favorite singers of all time. Noone does it like her.
