    Joey, I hope you and Andy are doing well. I appreciate the great job you are doing for our trail by creating these videos and supporting our local businesses. Jeff and Nancy are great people and I am so happy you got to stay at the hostel. Please give Andy an Alabama hug for me. Love y’all

    Hike your own hike! I have to remind myself sometimes I am out here to enjoy nature so slow down. It's not a race. I average 3 mph on good ground so I am not gonna break any records. That dog has a home place I bet. They will wander far when they are allowed to. Great reports, keep 'em coming!

    That's a wonderful part of trail. Loved staying at the Next Step Hostel as well. Outdoor showers were interesting, though. 😅

    I loved listening to your hike today while I was on mine by myself. I was wondering while you were on this hike about how heavy was your pack?

      With food and water, probably 22-26 lbs, depending on the day. My base weight is about 15 lbs.
