Excellent advice here! I usually don't like "equipment reviews" because they're done by gear freaks or "content providers," people who don't have experience helping people. Your own depth of retail and personal experience is evident in how you relate advice to a wide-ranging audience. You educate them, you're not selling them. I know, people just want to get out there. But later on, they're the ones we usually have to go out of our way to rescue or otherwise deal with their issues on the trail that they didn't solve back home. It's called "wilderness" for a reason, not just aesthetics.

Thank you for sharing! I learned I was packing my pack wrong - I've been putting heavier items in the bottom. Also, thank you for the visual demo of strap adjustment. Now that the temps are cooler I've had to make adjustments based on jacket/layers and I needed that visual refresher. You are a good teacher!

This is the best instructional pack video I've seen. Every new backpacker needs to see this.

I've been struggling so much finding a bag that doesn't make my shoulders numb. Hopefully I can find a fitter like you that can help - great video!

I usually find the pack uncomfortable after awhile and I’ll adjust the pack from time to time to distribute load differently and give various body parts a rest.

Thank you for this one! I learned a couple of new things about fitting a pack. Can't wait to pull mine out and make some adjustments.

When my husband & I started hiking we didn't know any better and I bought 2 inexpensive back packs off FB Market. Mint condition. But they weigh 100 lbs empty. I may be exaggerating 😉 but you get my drift. I really want to get new ones that are lighter.
