We in America will be very unhappy if it’s true
As an American I'm just glad the queen never saw it, though I wish she was still here. The fact that neither Henry nor Rachel knew the queen wouldn't be around to see it, makes the disrespect all the worse. Henry has made a big deal about feeling bad that he hadn't wanted to talk to his mom while playing, on her last phone call to him. Yet seems to feel no guilt about refusing his grandmother when she asked him to come see her a few days before she passed away. He brought all of this heartache to his grandmother starting with the first Oprah interview while his grandfather was in the hospital dying, only to be released to die at home. COVID hit, and we will sadly all remember how tiny and frail the queen looked mourning all by herself at his funeral. She dedicated her whole life to her country and Henry and Rachel tried to destroy it all. Henry who took an oath swearing to protect and honor the queen.
I think we all now realize just how hard the palace has to work all these years to keep Henry looking good and PR sinned positively, to the point he was considered the most popular royal. No one knew how mentally off he was, nor guessed just how disloyal of a type of person he is.
I remember hearing she actually learned how to bow for an audition years ago. Not to mention she went to a teacher in America to teach her proper etiquette. She obviously learned nothing. When she had her podcast she was trying to talk about strong women who have had a positive influence on the world, yet never mentioned the one who ran the UK for over 70 years.
I really do think this Markle woman is quite disturbed.She seems to lack all self awareness and is totally self-obsessed. Her behaviour is pathological.Also she is basically an ignoramus with a very thin veneer of superficial and fake sophistication.
I have to correct one of the comment in this video about how she thinks that the royal family does nothing. The royal family does plenty for the country by promoting and funding the charities that benefit the country and the world at large, e.g. the Prince's Trust which is now the King's Trust, the Earshot prize, Homelessness projects, Early Years Centre etc. In addition, the royal family yield soft power for which the UK government utilises to improve the UK's political, economic and military ties with the foreign countries. The royal family is a brand that is synonymous with the UK and their brand value is worth billions to the country via tourism, promoting interest from oversea media etc. E.g. the Coronation, the late Queen's funeral, Royal weddings attracted tourists and world media alike which pump millions into the local economy.
Another issues that most people including the UK citizens don't understand fully is the royal family's finances. The royal family's finances are nothing to do with the UK taxpayers except for their security cost. Bear in mind that the security cost would be the same for any Head of State whether if it is the monarch or not. The Sovereign Grant is 15-25% of the income generated by the Crown's Estate which is under the ownership of the King so essentially the Crown fund for itself and the Sovereign Grant is not used for the royal family itself but for the upkeep of historic palaces, staffing costs associated with functioning of the palaces and for functions associated with royal duties such as hosting foreign dignitaries, hosting investiture ceremony etc. Their private income comes from the Duchy of Lancaster for the Monarch and Duchy of Cornwall for the Prince of Wales respectively which fund for the daily expenses of the royal family. So, people needs to research a bit more to become educated before making opinions because uneducated opinions are not helpful.
Harry was as much to blame as Meghan. Just to sit there and not defend his grandmother was disgusting. He needs to man up!

I agree with you totally. The fact that Harry allowed Meghan to behave like that knowing it would be given worldwide coverage shows just how alike he and she are in my opinion. I find them both to be extremely disrespectful and offensive in their behaviour. Any backlash they receive as a result of this can only be laid at their own door. As a UK citizen I would personally like to thank our American and Commonwealth friends for joining with us in calling out their unwarranted and despicable behaviour.

I believe she really thought it was funny, light and showing what a hugger she was, but it never was right, something was wrong if you wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt - it was the smug look. Actually, you see this same behaviour of taking the p* out of the Queen, British & monarchy in 40\40 she thought she got away with it. It went under the radar since Mellissa McCarthy was the stooge - but I found it particularly derogatory and belittling towards the Queen. It was the parody of mocking the Queen, a woman of age who should have had been respected, not someone accepted into the Royal Family. The woman is a bitch !

It was an amazing time of my life and met lots of wonderful people. That said, when it came to knowing about where other countries are or some rudimentary cultural details about any country, I was astonished at the ignorance.
Granted, many folk will go by details given to them by mainstream media, from schooling and books, from parents, and the internet nowadays. Now, we all know how manipulated and propagandised our news, government, industries, educators, and the internet is; a lot of misinformation. The lesson is never lapse into wilful ignorance after learning knowledge and don't take for granted the knowledge learned from MSM, internet, and educators is unequivocal fact until further inquiry from alertative and opposing sources is achieved, in my opinion.
@Verenike4ever MM is an example to us all in how we don't want to turn up in this world. Some people aren't meant to wake up. Instead, they're here to model to those able to see the error of their ways in order to learn how to live with true virtue. Meghan Markle lied to the late Queen, telling her she would serve the monarchy, she never had to take on royal duties, and she even began them BEFORE marrying Henry, a thing which never happened before. The institution bent over backward to give Meghan Markle advantages no one marrying into the royal family had before her, AND YET she began disrespecting the family as soon as she had the ring on her finger, refusing to curtsy to the Queen Elizabeth II in the wedding ceremony, when she had done so during rehearsals, the late Queen's expression said it all. Meghan Markle wants all the benefits of being royal without doing any of the work. During her time (17 months) she hardly had any engagements and only wanted to do the 'glamorous' jobs and drove her staff to quit en masse. A horrible person, and Henry is horrible to be her partner in disparaging not only his family, but the nation that gave him EVERYTHING he has.

I'm an American. Anyone who ever watched more than 30 seconds of video of the Royal Family KNOWS what a bow/curtsy looks like. In fact, I've seen youtube compilations of Meghan doing proper curtsies on Suits and other videos. She KNOWS how to curtsy.. Her mocking the Queen and the Royal Family that she willingly married into was disgusting.

@@Whitstik1 as a Brit I don't blame MM, she saw a chance of fame and fortune and jumped on and took it for all its worth. She had no alligence towards the RF or the UK, she was willing to "cancel" her entire family for this once in a lifetime opportunity. It worked out wonderfully for her, she's getting awards, invited to events who didn't know her name, she's mixing with billionaires and celebs, lives in a huge mansion with security on tap and paps waiting for her call. Now designers are offering her clothes for free when she bought off the peg. She's played the game well and she's secure for life. I even saw an American news item saying Harris might make MM her VP. In 5 years she's known, not always nicely, around the world, "being Markled" is in the dictionary.
She spends a fortune on PR bombarding the public with pap shots and her dramas just in case we forget who she is.
Then there's Harry. He had the world at his feet, was top of his social world, was meeting and greeting Kings, Queens, Presidents, world leaders. No door was closed to him. His Father paid him approximately £2.3m a year for attending a few events, far less than any other Royal, but he was never satisfied, he was jealous and vindictive and he became difficult to work with. So Charles and the Late Queen decided he needed something to channel his frustrations. The MOD were given the task and they came up with IG initially to be a joint event with both brothers. Harry was still not satisfied as he said William had more charities than him so he was given it as a solo project. His total involvement in the first year was to attend the AGM and then the actual Games, that's all. Then he met MM. Now he uses the Games to visit other countries like his Nigerian faux tour and there are many more to come we hear. He's created his own little LA Kingdom and sadly a lot of great Americans are still impressed by titles and the duo have been given multi million deals for something they can't deliver, just to have their titles on the leader board. So I don't agree with the many, I don't blame MM at all she was a hungry grifter. But Harry, he is treacherous, a traitor, an intimidator, a rude, uncaring individual who could have had any life he wanted but he chose destruction and heartbreak to all those who lived and supported him.

I'm an American, and in my humble opinion, most Americans would not have found her behavior amusing. It was ignorant of her to believe any American would have found her behavior acceptable.
The Royal family deserved the best from her after how welcoming they were to her. The wife and the jail bird mom are very low class and ungrateful. King Charles money wasn't Racist after all he paid for all the wedding clothes they both wore. And then some.

This remaining in the final edit indicates a number of people in the production didn’t like working with her. They also knew it would get the winge-fest lots of press so win-win for the producers, director etc: serving a comeuppance whilst garnering publicity and driving up viewing figures.
As an American, I am totally in completely appalled by her behavior, mocking queen, Elizabeth, of all people. I think that Harry’s wife that is always her go to is to book the system, and then turn around and say that they never fully accepted her when she did everything she possibly could to go against the grid and not hidden. As for Harry, he is exactly the same as her! I believe that the palace has been covering up his behavior ever since he was a young child, and I think now it’s time for everyone to realize this is the real Harry. He was never any of the things of the stories that were told about before as the war hero, this great example.also, I think it is very appalling that the Netflix company allowed her to do such a skit and mock the queen of England!

A problem child in school, a problem student in university where she gsuper glued someone’s eyelids together, disgrace when she went to Argentina and could not even do the job as a runner in the Press Office, because she couldn’t pass Suzie the exam. Her life has been full of her acting out, disgracing herself and no one giving her consequences. It is time for it to stop.

As a 70+ yr old USA 🇺🇸 citizen. mm sickens me to my core. When she did that horrible thing and talked like all “Americans” would agree. I honestly wanted to cry or vomit. I have loved QE2 and Anne! When Anne told the kidnapper, Not Bloody Likely! She made me love her! I have nothing but respect and love for UK and the Royal Family. I hate how m made us look at stupid as she is.
I'm English and can assure you that the majority of us know that meghan was not speaking for all Americans as she stated during this appalling and shameful mocking of our Queen, an elderly lady coming to the end of her life and of our country's traditions. Personally I thought that she was disrespectful to many Americans too, by implying that all Americian people are as close minded and disrespectful as she and her husband are.
It has been really heartwarming though, seeing the support so many American (and other nationalities of course) show, not only to our late Queen, but our country and its ancient traditions.

I'm American and this is when these two grifters lost me. I have a lot of respect for the Queen and the Royal Family. The monarchy is a British culture and tradition that should be respected. An American here- I don’t consider either of them to be particularly bright, but her comments about greeting the Queen are not about ignorance. For those who don’t understand the reference to Medieval Times-. Medieval Times is a themed restaurant/ dinner show where the food is served without utensils, and you eat with your hands. Even if you don’t care about the royal family, you must recognize that she was mocking her husband’s grandmother and entire family. This was absolutely disgusting. As an actor, Meghan would know how to prepare for a role...how would she not prepare to meet the Queen of England by learning how to curtsey properly? Also, there is footage from a scene in "Suits" where her character curtseys just fine, not in such an exaggerrated way as she did in the netflix mockumentary. She really is full of it.
Her own story, previously told on Oprah, was that Fergie taught her how to curtsey. Fergie, who despite her faults has never been rude about her husband's family, would have taught her the "bob" that we in the UK know a curtsy to be. The dishonesty is what bothers me. Her real problem with the curtsey is that protocol would have required her to curtsey not just to the Queen, but to Catherine too and in time to Catherine's children. It's a marker of respect of the office, not the person. Americans know this from their own rules of protocol.

That look on Harry's face says one thing and one thing only, "This is the bed which I made, and now I must lay." I just found this video. Sorry to be late to the party! I am a 72 year-old American who grew up watching the royal family. Our Teen magazines kept us up-to-date on especially King Charles and Princess Anne. I ALWAYS admired the Queen and felt so strongly about her death. I needed to express my grief. At that time I was living in NYC. I took a train, a bus, and an Uber to get to the British Consulate on the last day so I could sign the Book of Condolences. Meghan is not a typical American. She is a selfish narcissist. America is filled with sensible and respectful people from many countries. That is one of the greatest assets we have. Difficult way of life trying to respect everyone, especially if they are nasty and disrespectful. But I dare say I loved the Queen and these two were given everything and were nasty and threw it all away. Harry wake up and see what you've done! The only thing I agreed with Donald Trump saying is the fact that Harry is "whipped". He's also a wimp. Meghan knows she can walk all over him and he won't do anything about it. He's terrified of losing her.
American here, that curtsy was a horrific display of disrespect to the Queen, and how stupid Meghan is. Meghan has no idea that the late Queen was so beloved by the world and her behavior is going to affect her endeavors in the future.

Biggest mistake the late Queen made, was allowing her to participate in Family and Offical events before the marriage. All this accomplished, was not to make her feel cared for in the raw family, but that she was oh so special. Therefore, her inflated ego got a boost it didn’t need for..

And he made a point of saying that he wished his grandmother would see the Netflix show. He snubbed seeing her in her last months...he is every bit as manipulative nasty and cruel as his wife.

Just finished reading "Revenge". She is a classic narcissist. She treated her American family awfully. She drove multiple staff members out of their jobs. She's jealous of Catherine. They complain about the media but don't have a problem using them when it's convenient. I'm an American and find so many royals interesting and kind hearted. Never been a fan of Harry and his mother would not approve of the way he's treated his brother.
As an American, I do not appreciate MM justifying her insulting behavior by stating that Americans would “get” her rude comments. She is a an embarrassment to America on an international scale. Her deliberate belittling of Queen Elizabeth and the royal family is unforgivable! Americans will not tolerate her. As opposed to cancel culture as I am, MM has justifiably been canceled stateside!

When she first joined the Royal Family, she mimicked Diana and acted like a 20-year old ingenue even though she was already 36 years old, had already been married and divorced, and had been hustling around Hollywood's periphery for over a decade. Her Oprah interview where she whined about having to Google the British national anthem because the Palace didn't consider that she was "an American" and wouldn't know such things as the lyrics of God Save The Queen was the absolute outrage for me. As a former actress her JOB was to memorize lines and research her role. And she couldn't hack a country's national anthem on her own, which, by the way, is LITERALLY about her husband's grandmother, and is sung in the same tune as another American patriotic song "My Country 'Tis Of Thee"?! She's an absolute liar. And by the way, she LIVED IN CANADA for 10 years while filming Suits. Canada is a Commonwealth country where the Queen was the Head of State and her face is on the damn money!
