Any thoughts on this? I tried playing Mobile Legends, ended up having to uninstall it because of the phone overheating and battery drain.
Sorry to hear you’ve been having issues with battery Brandon. I haven’t pushed it as much as you did I think, but battery I feel was one of the weaker points of this phone. It sounds like the power hungry 8 Gen 1 combined with the 2K display and under 5000 mAh battery is leading to less than stellar endurance. Keep me posted on how it’s doing, and hope it gets better soon!
I think you didn't turn on the boost charging from the settings. If you have turned you should have got it done within 20 mins 🥳 By the way love your content and it is getting better day by day 🥳 Love from Nepal ❤️
For me, I think the bugs noticed isnt going to be a deal breaker. But Xiaomi needs to commit to providing an update to fix these bugs. Also, given that the 12 Pro has some bugs, the major factor in its sales will be the pricing. Just my 2 cents. 😊 All the love from the Philippines.
Frankie first of all nice review. Is it worth to upgrade from Vivo X70 Pro to Mi 12 or Mi12 Pro just for the speakers quality ?? Only thing am missing from Vivo X70 Pro is loudspeaker quality.
Its all about personal preferences, some says the taken photos from 12pro is over saturated others says its dull lack of color and vibrants, for me it serves its purpose 10/10
I like that you mention haptics in your reviews. Xiaomi have really become the king of haptics. At the moment I am using Mi 11 Pro and typing on this phone is fantastic due to the silent but strong haptics. Of all the phones I have used only Pixel 4 XL and S20 Ultra come close (have not tried S21 Ultra). There seems to be two types of flagship haptics, the strong type like on Mi 11/12/ P4XL/S20Ultra and the weaker more subtle type used on iPhone and Poco F3/Mi 11T. I prefer the stronger type.

Yeah the periscope camera is missing, that's a must for me. If the 12 ultra can give me that along with the phone being lighter than the 11 ultra then I would consider an upgrade.
They didn't want to put this is a 10/10 phone because the 12 Ultra is expecting to drop (or not? According to some rumors. 🤷♂️) But that front camera with no 4K resolution in a flagship phone is still a crime.
Nice video and comments Frankie...btw 4K60 is much better on this phone than 4K30...anyway, I don't believe that this mobile will also be in the EU version
What I love about xioami is that the ultra phones are actually ultra At Samsung or iPhone the ultra phones are just bigger, with not really big improvements At Xiaomi is pretty much a completely different phone
That's not true at all. iPhone 13 pro max and Samsung's ultra phones have significantly better specs, especially with one or two additional cameras, bigger sensors, better front cameras...etc with this Xiaomi you can only record 1080/30fps video vs 4k/60fps with autofocus of Samsung and Apple.
@@paul_2710 it depends on the consumer. I've had plenty cheap phones with 1080/30fps video recording with the front camera. I would never buy a flagship phone without an optical zoom camera and 4k/60fps with ALL cameras.

By the way love your content and it is getting better day by day 🥳
Love from Nepal ❤️
Is there a huge difference between mi 11 pro and this in camera and overheating.. I decided to buy 11pro whats u think?
For me, I think the bugs noticed isnt going to be a deal breaker. But Xiaomi needs to commit to providing an update to fix these bugs.
Also, given that the 12 Pro has some bugs, the major factor in its sales will be the pricing.
Just my 2 cents. 😊
All the love from the Philippines.
How would you review it in the "value for money category" when putting it up against phones from Apple, Samsung etc?
Frankie first of all nice review.
Is it worth to upgrade from Vivo X70 Pro to Mi 12 or Mi12 Pro just for the speakers quality ??
Only thing am missing from Vivo X70 Pro is loudspeaker quality.
Thanks Ben! I honestly don’t think it’s worth the upgrade from that phone. I’d wait for something bigger and better from Xiaomi to upgrade to!
@@FrankieTech thanks Frankie
Camera compairison about Pixel 6 or iPhone 13 :)
I am looking forward to dimensity 9000 and 7000 as these sd chips are frying pans.
It is worth to upgrade from mi 11 to xiaomi 12 or 12 pro?
from mi11 to mi12 is just normal,
12Pro will be a upgrade
Good day Frankie.
I received a reply on my comment supposedly comingnfrom you that I was among the winners and was asking for shipping payment up front. . But the response does not have your trademark signature.
Kindly look into it.
Thank you.
Sorry about that bro, there’s been another stupid spam attack on my channel, that was not me! Please ignore and report if you see these fake comments bro! Thanks!
so beautiful mr. Frankie 💯💯💯
Why didn't you show sample of 4k 60fps and 8k 24fps.
Finally the video I have been waiting for the earlier ones felt like leaks tbh
Well, I’ve been doing content of Xiaomi 12 Pro all week, including my camera and throttle tests, go check them out too
Many users have reported that the lens fogs up when recording at 4k after a few minutes in cold weather or at night, it would be good if you do the test
Good Day Sir Frankie 🧡

Amazing review, especially the ship scenes are so awesome 👍 This stupid flickering is really not necessary, so sad to see you efforts and the whole work you put into it and then such annoying flickering. Anyway thanks a lot for your work! Really enjoyed the video!
Appreciate Olli! Yeah the flickering was super annoying! Glad to be done with this review! By the way sorry it appears your comment was held for review, but you still weren't spared from this bloody spam attack! So annoying sorry about that!
Do a review on Realme GT 2 pro if it's already available, please
Great indepth review as always bro
Thanks bro as always!
Great review, a bit more positive than I expected but still great down-to-earth review! Lol I love the timelapse with the Speedmaster.
Thanks bro! You made it possible! I still think it’s a great phone but ultimately I think we’re still waiting for the true breakthrough release from Xiaomi, this ain’t it! Appreciate the support bro and hope to see you again soon! 😀
@@FrankieTech I think if UK and EU price this right, at around £700 or €800 it could be competitive in the mid-high range. A lot of people could use a phone of this price with this quality 👍🏼 of course, we're tech nerds so we'll definitely be looking forward to the big Flagships 🤣 Xiaomi X Leica is gonna be sickk.
It's has over saturation issues in the camera I hope xiaomi fixes it in their upcoming software updates. After the update camera would be too good🔥👌🏻
So here i am still stuck with my mi 8 (2017). Will it worth the upgrade from mi 8 to 12 pro? 😂
😁😂 seeing Jean Claude Van Dam me dance is the best memories of my life (a total classic)
Haha always a classic! 🤣
Is that xiaumi 12 pro coming out glabally?
Please check mi 12 's virtual proximity sensor in call, mi 11 was awful job.
Nice phone but I am expecting to do camera comparison with s20fe with this to see how far it can competence with previous budget phone .. do it if possible please......,..bye take care
Good video Frankie tech
Great review, this 12 Pro is definitely a downgrade from 11 Pro in my opinion. Not worth it at all.
I agree it is a downgrade in almost everything except charging speed and display
Yeah the periscope camera is missing, that's a must for me. If the 12 ultra can give me that along with the phone being lighter than the 11 ultra then I would consider an upgrade.
I'm happy I got a mi 11t pro 256gb it came with a free mi watch and free mi Bluetooth 5 earbuds
They didn't want to put this is a 10/10 phone because the 12 Ultra is expecting to drop (or not? According to some rumors. 🤷♂️)
But that front camera with no 4K resolution in a flagship phone is still a crime.
Agreed bro it is a crime! Yeah perhaps that’s why! We shall see!
very good review !
Very balanced device overall. Probably the mi 12x or the realme gt 2 pro are better choices though, if priced correctly
How much is it in dollars?
Beautiful color 💙
Nice video and comments Frankie...btw 4K60 is much better on this phone than 4K30...anyway, I don't believe that this mobile will also be in the EU version
shots fired at technick👀
Thanks frankie
Plis review xiaomi 12 regular
Wow that speaker on the 12.
Ну наконец-то, полный обзор
Creo que tu fuiste el primero en el mundo en subirlo a youtube
What I love about xioami is that the ultra phones are actually ultra
At Samsung or iPhone the ultra phones are just bigger, with not really big improvements
At Xiaomi is pretty much a completely different phone
That's not true at all. iPhone 13 pro max and Samsung's ultra phones have significantly better specs, especially with one or two additional cameras, bigger sensors, better front cameras...etc with this Xiaomi you can only record 1080/30fps video vs 4k/60fps with autofocus of Samsung and Apple.
@@canalconsumismo5497 lmao
Well that's just a few better specs
Not big things
@@paul_2710 it depends on the consumer. I've had plenty cheap phones with 1080/30fps video recording with the front camera. I would never buy a flagship phone without an optical zoom camera and 4k/60fps with ALL cameras.
Why you're no test Pubg mobile and support 90FPS ?
I really loved this blue color 🌅💙
I'll stick to my mi 11 pro I think. Hongkong is a beautiful city! What full time job do you have if I am allowed to ask - tech related?
Yes it is a beautiful city! I’m a trader now for the largest platform for preowned luxury watches, buying and selling and trading brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe and more. I love tech still but I’m loving watches MORE these days 🤣
@@FrankieTech wow that sounds really interesting! I also really like luxury watches. I have a seamaster 300 white dial / black bezel and a datejust 41 wimbledon 👌🏼 keep it up and stay safe. Love your videos! Regards from germany ✌🏼
@@Balota23 wow awesome! Love that Seamaster, but man I’m definitely in love with getting a 41mm Wimbledon at some point! I have Speedmaster Professional, Tudor Black Bay Chrono, GMT and Fifty-Eight but my favorite is my Oyster Perpetual 41mm Green Dial! Hope to introduce my business and chat about your collection soon! Feel free to reach out to Francisco.Herrera@thewatchbox.com
Mi 10 Pro/Ultra were the last amazing and well-rounded flagships by Xiaomi.
Add Mi 11 Pro to that list.
Love the look of the Xiaomi 12 Pro 👍
Yeah no doubt Monty! Design is definitely one of the highlights!
Hope you do review of mi 12x....
L1 party on Frankie Tech 🕺🏻🎉
Yeah but Prime video is only showing in SD
Flashing that Speedmaster 👍
Hehe glad you like it 😜
@@FrankieTech Watch-dude mysel 😁 Skipped the Speedmaster though. But it's a undeniable sexy classic.
Xiaomi12Pro ❤️
The design is stunning but that flickering is off putting I'll still keep me note 9 pro cheers Frankie 👍🙏

It's My "next phone" when it hits global market.
wow i love the looks of the phone I'm not even joking around because boi i love the looks of it i can't wait to see this in person because I'm compared to the redmi note 10 pro (max)
