Well i give up. I dont expect you know what i can do and there is not one good tutorial for this case. I just get reminded why i never wanted to work with blender in the first place. It to overcomplicated.
@@AethelfredAnimation thats the thing with the nodes in the shading section but i somehow fixed that. Now im facing the problem that the texture i got does only change the color not the texture of the ship itself.
You should do a tutorial on how to do the warp stars, and how to make that star field you have. I'm using a dirty method to make the star field and particles for warp but they don't work well together.
The star field I use is based off of another tutorial, of which there are plenty so should hopefully be easy enough to find. As far the warp stars (I assume you're talking about the stretched RBG lines that fly by when at warp?) they're just elongated spheres with a gradient emission texture for the different colours which then fly by as a bunch of particles
With the circles and the RGB lines? I tried but I think it'd be done best with a compositing software like after effects or nuke, rather than within blender using objects, someone else might have made a tutorial for it?
Hi i enjoyed your video as you can see from my profile picture I'm a huge star trek fan . Can you do a video on how to built a star trek type ship from beginning to finish ?
It's a great suggestion but honestly my modelling process tends to be incredibly messy with a lot of going back and forth on ideas, so it probably wouldn't make for the most helpful tutorial lmao
I've been trying to figure out how to get those sort of trails for a while now, but I haven't really gotten it down yet, there might be some over tutorials somewhere though?
@@AethelfredAnimation If it's any help, I think that may be more suited to a compositing workflow since most of the trails come from the light sources.
BRO i spent all night looking for a video to make this and you saved my soul TYSM
It doesn't get better than this. Simply laid out and executed. Very nice! Time to go spend the next ten hours putting all of this to use! Thank you.
Thank you! I'm glad you found it useful!!
will be following along. have a great day 'fred'.
Great tutorial. Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Thank you!
amazing imma use this for a tardis demat
Mate i love you. This is actually an understandable tutorial. I'll move soon but then ill try it out.
I've just now encountered a masive problem. I use my models, that i import as stls. They dont show in this tree thingy.

@@DunestrikeMorgan Hi I'm really sorry I have no idea what you mean by "tree thingy"?

Thanks a lot man. I'm making my own music video so I'm going to use put my own designed Starship into this tutorial. Greetings from Chile. 🔥🫡
Awesome tutorial! I will definitely use this for an anime like speed dash haha
Great video, thanks
Very nicely done! Well explained mate!! Cheers!!
Wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Thanks you very much. You tutorial saves my project.
Glad I could help!

That s what i need ! Thank you :D
Glad to have helped!
Is there a way to replicate the warp tunnel effect from Star Trek the Motion Picture?
I imagine there probably is, and hopefully somebody else on RUclips has figured it out, but as of yet I haven't
shader tutorial on the ship pls, glow n etc. And textures tutorial the uss name, etc
very good well done xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Would it be possible to also recreate some of the warp effect used in TMP (The Motion Picture) or TWOK (The Wrath of Khan)?

Can you update the tutorial to include the TMP and TWOK warp effects?
