French Twist for Long Hair (Knee Length)

Cinnamon Hair's French Twist for long hair. This style works on my knee length hair but it should be doable for almost any length.
Tools used:
Ficcare Maximas large
Hair sticks
4 prong hair fork
Good Hair Days plastic pins
Instructions:
Gather hair for a ponytail. Do not secure. Fold the length in half as many times as necessary until it fits the back of your head. Use both hands to twist the clump of hair toward one side of your head. Smooth as you twist. Secure with your choice of accessory. Ficcare maximas or 4 prong hair fork is more stable than hair sticks for me. I use Good Hair Days pins to catch any falling pieces.

Thank you! My hair is about "classic length" (it reaches the tops of my thighs) so most of the time I wear it braided or in a bun, but I've wanted to try a French twist for a long time.

I know this is an old video, but I had to comment in response to all the negative viewers. Of course it's not an IDEAL french twist, but come on it's a very good replica for hair that long. All you really do for a french twist is twist your hair onto itself and that's pretty much what she was doing... I think there were a lot of jealous viewers!
Finally a video that says long hair and actually long.. All these other videos have girls with hairs to thier shoulders!

u saved my life .. I also have long hair & Im sad cs I cant do hair styles as other short hair. But it's not that easy to find the types of hair clips you use. But I think I should try to find some thing similar at least. you have super beautiful hair :)

oh geez, and I thought *I* had long pretty hair, but you have me beat by about a foot and a half..I just got 7 inches trimmed off recently, and even then it wasn'ta s pretty as yours.

A shoutout to all long hair ladies: when I see beautiful hairdos like that, and I guess (usually right) that the hair is very long, I'm burning to ask the gifted bearer one question: "would you let it down for me, please?" Is there any chance or is there any way to ask this question, without bieng perceived as a deranged fetichist, that would amke the beautiful person agree to let the bun dwn for an instant? Or is it really too personal and an intimate thing to ask?

That is not a French Twist but an attempt. I have long hair too. It is simply not done.
and also i myself although young some people may be pilgrim holliness apostolic penicostal and so on and may think of it as an insult i myself only want my husband to see my hair down
as a hairstylist, i have to say that that is NOT a french twist. there was no twisting involved, or any pins either. ideally, a french twist is for hair thats around shoulder length, because if its much longer you cant twist all of it and you run out of room to pin.
