I was also taught to press my seams. I cringe when I see people on RUclips skipping that part. It does make a big difference. Love all your different pocket tutorials. Thanks a bunch.
Love this version. Im with you on that I trim curves with pinking shears. You have given us "sew" many creative options for pockets. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love for sewing with us. ❤
I like the idea of the elastic at the top, to keep "valuable" rocks from falling out accidentally. The bows are a bonus and "zhuzh up" the pocket. Thanks, Jen!
This has been so much fun watching these pocket videos. The pinking shears make a nicer finish edge. The tip about snipping into that opening just a little is a great idea, I never thought of that one. I started out as a quilter and we press everything. I agree that pressing makes a big difference on garments too. Goes from looking homemade to a more professional handmade garment. Thank you so much. I need to go back through all these pocket videos and get the patterns..don't know why I didn't do it when I watched them.
Hi Jen, thanks so much for sharing all your pockets! Question about Instagram: When I post my dresses on IG I'd like to credit you for the pocket designs. Would I just send people to your IG account or is there a direct link to the pocket tutorials? Thanks! Addie

These tutorials are so very enjoyable! Thank you🎉
Your pocket tutorials are absolutely splendid. I'm keeping all the printouts in a folder for use as often as I can 😊. Thank you so much.
My pleasure! I'm so glad they were helpful!
I might have to start putting more pockets in I carry my hemostats and nursing scissors in my purse. They do come in handy.
Thank you!

thank you my friend! It's oddly been a marathon week of tutorials when I've felt miserable with an ear infection and a head full of snot! LOL!
You're very good at tutorials.
I appreciate that! I never feel like I'm very good at them . . .

A funny thing, another youTuber calls pinking shears zigzag scissors! I always laugh!
