I don’t work in the vehicle industry but all the electronic modules in our system use a CAN bus to communicate. I can apply everything you taught me here, thanks for the lesson.
Parts on these things is extremely inexpensive and insurance is low and great fuel mileage. We have an old 1996 that is perfect for the teen boy. My wife says it should be in the junk yard but it really is inexpensive. Plus in a few years when they ban all sales of new ICE cars these things will be going up in value. lol.
I like how you edit your vids. Its on the move and no wasted vid of your diagnostic hunt.i get annoy watching repair vid of scenery shot, monologs and beauty shot .😂😂😂new subscriber here
Dont change!!Your doing a good job making good videos.Your Diagnostics are good and good videos.Keepem comin and people will keep watching commenting and subscribing is all I can say.
I really like your vids, that said you move so fast on these it would be great if you could do a little voice over review at the end of what happened, what else it could have been and/or an alternate approach that could have be taken to arrive at diagnosis.
@@advancedleveldiagnostics Admire your tenacity. We need more techs like you in the field, too many fall short in the electrical/electronics aspect of automotive repair. You would make a great instructor at an automotive technology school/college.
I think because the PCM wasn't talking with the BCM, it shut fuel off after cranking (Inmovilizer) and thats also why the IPC has the Airbag and Servive Vehicle Soon lights on.
I don't understand why you did not have talking on the network when you disconnected the BCM, class 2 data is module to module communication using 7-0 volt pulse trains, each class 2 module both receives and transmits, and each module on the network should have set no com. with BCM codes.
After I disconnected the bcm I did not check for communication, I just tried starting it and it still would not start. I think because it needs the BCM for the immobilizer.
@@advancedleveldiagnostics Thank you for the reply. 100% in agreement it needs the BCM to start. If I remember correctly the BCM tells the ECM it is ok to activate the starter relay.

Incredible. Looks like the old junker is going to live to drive another day! Great job! Thanks for Sharing! 🙃🙂
Thanks for watching!
brute force, focused ...
you have a "take no prisoners" approach to diag
amazing to watch!
Thanks!
It looks like you're getting some practice on a car that's in a junkyard...lol. That car has seen much better days.
The customer wanted to know if its worth fixing up, the shop owner and I together said NO😂
@@advancedleveldiagnostics i'm not even sure it was worth paying you to diag the no start 🙂

Haven't seen one for at least 5 years.
As always great video 👍
it's hanging on by a thread😂
Nice knowledge keep up the great work what do you think about the new top don scanners
I was not aware they had new scanners, I have to check them out.
As always followed the logic straight to the problem area...cheers mate
Oh man that’s a great diagnosis !
Thanks for all your help developing our skills !!
👊🏼 🔥 📈 💻 💡 ⚡️
Sheesh you’re an electrical Jedi bro. Good stuff
Thanks!

ohh man is that LAB at the back of your car😍😍😍😍
Another excellent diagnosis. You make it look simple. I am guessing that you got into electronics before you got into automotive diagnostic repairs?
Thanks for watching! Actually it was the other way around.

The de oxidation spray. What are you using?? Seemed to work pretty good.
amzn.to/47vtr4v
It’s Deoxit D5 contact spray cleaner.
Nice work!
Nice job finding that....
Thanks for watching!
Good job 👍
Good work Amigo
Thanks!
Good catch bro
Thanks a lot 😊
great job always enjoy

Man you work quick

I think you are correct.
I hope the check cleared for that repair because I can’t imagine anyone putting any money into that car.
lol I get paid by the shop.
I was anticipating you were going to break out the microscope and start repairing the PCB traces.
Thankfully I didn't have to😃
That spray pantry! 😮i can use a closet like that.
Everyone needs one lol
Nice one!
❤
I don’t know. Sometimes them older vehicles are more reliable than these new module clunkers they have out today with 4 timing chains etc
💯
Nice
Thanks for watching!
To see which module usually fails, check which one dorman sells. 😂
🤣🤣

No parts but 500 dollars in diagnostics for a 400 dollar car
The diagnostic cost is more than what the car is worth 😅jk
I agree! I was just doing what they asked.
How much did you charge for a job like this?? That car is worth like 200$....😂
lol exactly that price!
SLOW DOWN You talk so fast that you do not pronounce words completely. Coupled with the shakey camera this video makes me nervious.
Tenacity on steroids! The man knows his stuff. I guess the excitement of it all speeds him up. He is a great automotive diagnostic detective!
