Your footwork is amazing, the shifts are super quick and the rev matching is awesome. a 9:34 is impressive, i drive a 55hp vw fox and lap it frequently, i understand what sub 10 means, i have only made it to a 10:25. your gear selection was spot on and there were no real mistakes at all, you know how to overtake and be overtaken without losing much time and i also love the turn in. you dont have fear to carry much speed into fast corners, which people often just dont figure out due to not really feeling their car and knowing how to handle a less stable condition, this shows especially at eschbach (the right hander before the youtube corner) where the rear always steps out and gets loose over the two little bumps, its exactly the same for me. i couldnt take my eyes off the video for one single second because it was just mesmerizing going with the flow and seeing you do everything right. i think this car is sooo much fun, its great to drive slow cars fast, i personally would like a little more than 55hp though because some areas are just too fast to get near the limit, in the forest section in the middle of the lap (kesselchen) i cant leave 4th gear and do like 120kph max, even losing speed in the incline and only having 100kph on the speedo at the end of the section. out if vorbers your car at least has a bit of power to get some sort of feedback and acceleration while mine literally has to decide whether we are gonna find some speed or drop some. 100hp seems perfect. the line you chose was great and was pretty much the same like mine, it was awesome in every way. i also have to say that the cameras like the speedo cam and the foot cam are great and the layout was cool, with the foot cam being on the passenger side in the shadow of the foot area. didnt look like its layed over and fits into the video very well. the rear camera is also cool. what cameras are you using? i only use a normal dashcam and because its on the windshield very far up, the speed doesnt show and you obviously dont see me driving. id like to film like this as well. its a very professional video for such a slow car and you never really see it somewhere else. Wow, great driving again! You nearly caught the Civic which has 200hp so was obviously quicker on the straights but also has an LSD and better aero on the car; i guess he was less determined than you because you were catching him on the twisty parts. Those newer tyres seem much better than the older ones and you got 9.34 compared to your best of 9.33 but there was more traffic so I guess you would be quicker with less traffic! I hope to join you one day in my Panda 100hp. Bilstein still sell the kit with their gas dampers and eibach springs and Goodyear still make the lower profile F1 tyres for the Panda 100hp which they said is the same compound now as their best GS exotic tyres. However to get better lap times needs more power so either a remap or better camshafts/reworked combustion chambers. Anyhow really happy to see you there again and suprising many more powerful cars.
Thank you very much! It's always good fun if you're lucky enough to find a car to chase, and it's a really good feeling when you can hang on to faster cars, or almost anyways 😎 And yes, the new tires are definitely better, and the gearing with the lower profile is about perfect now. I was a bit disappointed that I "only" got a 9:34, but it was my only lap without yellows, and as you said, there was more traffic. On my last lap I was 5 seconds faster than this lap to the 11km mark, but then hit yellows again. I was trying to beat the youtube TF record in a 100HP of 9:30 BTG (he was on AR-1 semi slicks though), but there were just too many cars around that weekend - oh well, can't win 'em all 🙂 Mods would be fun, but are not on cards for me, and I really enjoy the car as it is - and the bouncy castle suspension is hilarious. 😀. @@testacorsa1 welcome for my comments and i hope to see more laps on a day with less traffic. I feel the chassis of the car is very neutral but it needs better damping and more power for tracks. Thanks a lot 😊 I agree, I have had two Pandas now, 5 years each, and they have been the most reliable cars I ever had. My brother in law hasd a Stilo for a long time too, and that was incredibly reliable as well. They don't have the best reputation, wich I guess dates back to the rusty 70s, but that just means cheap used cars for us, so I'm not complaining 😀
@@vincio80 Soprattutto perché i pneumatici sono molto più economici, se devo essere sincero, ma accolgo con favore la parete più alta del pneumatico, perché ammorbidisce un po' le sospensioni.
Panda is a great little car, also fun to drive but can be tricky if the rear goes too far away. I've got one for 20 years, almost perfectly reliable, never let me down. But the high center of gravity is a huge disadvantage in sports. I could compare Panda on a circular test against low-roof 70s rwd on narrow tires. Despite the live live axle, the low-roof car was effortlessly quicker.
I´ve had two for 5 years each and both were just as reliable as yours. I had a fuel pump quit after 220.000km, but that's it. A will never be a sports car, for the resons you mention, but as you say they are fun to drive. I never had a problem with the rear though, as they are incredibly understeery - and It wasn't for lack of trying. Thanks for your comment 🙂
@@testacorsa1 Most of the time but there are moments when things can go wrong. What's I've learnt on training where I only practiced oversteer control is that in Panda you shouldn't really countersteer. Just floor the throttle and keep the previous steering angle. They change direction with countersteering too rapidly to make it a safe method and throttle is usually enough to get the back on track. What I like about Panda is that it tightens the turn if you brake to shart turn at a very last moment or even after entering the corner. At least non-ABS does it. And the reliability. Except for two minor electrical issues with lights, and one set of locked gear linkage it never had any issues. Once, just once in 20 years it light up 'check engine' but before I got it connected to a computer, the light went off, and there was no sign it affected it in any way. Now I work in a car fleet and most new cars have check engine lit up like 4 times a year on average, and often it is an actual problem that needs repairs.
@@Kraid07 True that, and I do exactly that on track, but when I get home I feel a bit disappointed about it though, I must admit. The amout of cars there has gone crazy, but that's just how it is now, I guess 🤷♀
Well, In some corners sure, but I have to manage the throttle in a lot of corners to avoid understeer, and if the corners are sharp, the inside wheel will spin up too. An LSD would be really nice to have!
Brilliant driving, and that was some send into the karussell! I did my first laps back in April in my similarly powered Seat Ibiza, not sure if I would’ve kept up with you in the corners though😂
Thanks very much. Hard not to feel sorry for the car through the karussell, but the faster you're through the less time the car suffers 😁. I wish I just did my first lap again, that was such an experience!
@@testacorsa1 i have one, lowered koni / hr springs, struts front and back, powerflex everywhere, little spacers for the wheels, only the stock tyres, but goodyears are superb. And a throttle body upgrade. Help's a lot. 👍
It's absolutely fine. I found that the Nordschleife is not nearly as hard on a car as i had thought it would be (on the slow cars I drive anyways), but I do keep the car well maintained, and I always change the oil and brake fluid before I go. I just run street tires, so the forces and speeds are not that high, and I also run stardard brakes with standard Bosch pads, and there is no problems with heat or brake fade - But I do try to take it a bit easy on them though, and brake relatively early and not so hard that the ABSkicks in. Come to think of it, I actually did two laps twice in a row this time, and had no problems what so ever. Long may it continue 🤞🙂
Grande!

I truly miss my Panda 😢. Such fun cars.
bella guida, bravo
Grazie mille :)
Du liebst Deinen Panda genauso wie wir unseren. Allein das macht Dich schon sympathisch 😁👍👍👍
😄 Danke für dein kommentar! Pandas sind eifach grossartig, oder 🥰
Nice, man :)
Thanks 😊✌
I love how you can give full throtle in the exits and not worry about understeer because the power is just enough, haha
Well, In some corners sure, but I have to manage the throttle in a lot of corners to avoid understeer, and if the corners are sharp, the inside wheel will spin up too. An LSD would be really nice to have!
Bravo
Brilliant driving, and that was some send into the karussell! I did my first laps back in April in my similarly powered Seat Ibiza, not sure if I would’ve kept up with you in the corners though😂
Thanks very much. Hard not to feel sorry for the car through the karussell, but the faster you're through the less time the car suffers 😁. I wish I just did my first lap again, that was such an experience!
Bella ,🎉🎉🎉super 🐼🐼
I drive a 1.0-litre Kia Morning (Picanto). This lap is inspirational
Thanks, I'm flattered.
I wish you would finish the RHD to LHD conversion on this car, and finally put the pedals on the correct side.
I admire your long legs though.
Have you done any suspension/strut bar/anti roll bar upgrades ?
No, the car is comepletely standard, and pretty understeery. Full specs in the description.
@@testacorsa1 i have one, lowered koni / hr springs, struts front and back, powerflex everywhere, little spacers for the wheels, only the stock tyres, but goodyears are superb. And a throttle body upgrade. Help's a lot. 👍
how is the car after all of this?
Grande!
Grazie ancora!😄
@@michelegiacometti9178 Non c'è di che, e grazie per aver commentato 🙂
