Mike M Statistically, probably not. The local dealerships by me have very high turn over rates. Local HD dealers near me (3) let 60 sales staff go over the course of 2 months.

I thought about going into motorcycle sales, then I saw all the turnover rates and bitter current and former employees reviews on glass door. I'm a disabled motorcyclist, consider myself lucky to ride and want others to experience riding.

Bredaxe that’s great you’re thinking of getting into the business. You’re correct about high turnover rates but typically it’s in dealerships (majority) that are poorly managed. There are many dealerships out there that take care of their employees with a low turnover rate. Choose carefully and interview the dealer just as they interview you.

Tommy Ady the dealership I work at has a new sales manager and he gives us great discounted prices for our customers. So we don’t make as much money per unit as the old sales manager would (he wouldn’t sell anything unless we made 30% on it.) but we sell 4 times the amount of units, and our customers love us and they send all their friends and family to us.
