We're balatro guys of course we expect NL to simply act as a self insert for us and just play the game as optimally and as quickly as possible instead of acting like a streamer

Wait hold on I am a hostess at a nice restaurant. We do more than just stay at the host stand lmao I end up cleaning a lot of tables and running food often too. I'm like a catch all support staff. That said I get in so much trouble if I'm like, rude to anyone. Told a guest who was also staying at the hotel once that I couldn't get him seated (was during an event, and he had a dog) and he spent the rest of his stay with us being petty and trying to get me in trouble.

I just won Gold Stake with Green Deck. I got pretty lucky with finding polychrome jokers and also Blueprint and other x mult jokers (constellation, card sharp, baseball) as well as hanging chad; Vagabond also carried me throughout ante 2 to 7, but I think I'll never be as lucky as in this occasion. It may also be the biggest achievement of my life lol

One of my friends (who admittedly hasn't played much) called it the best joker recently. Kinda cringed internally at that.
it's cheap, common, carries early-game, scales into ante 8 with extremely braindead decision-making and is open to tons of viable synergies. it also can't roll perishable and scales well enough to justify eternal, i really don't know what else you'd want from a common joker as far as just beating gold stake goes

The fundamental issue is that he thinks pair is better than high card and that planet cards aren't worth much early game. If he fixes those two issues, he could do alright.

Pair is worse than high card for 2 reasons, 1 obviously it's less reliable to draw and 2, in like hand operated decks, shoot the moon, heavy steel runs, it removes another card from hand.
