This is my "overcoming severe depression and feeling free and happy again" song, if that makes sense. This band have helped me so much. Life is so much more beautiful if you can get through it
It's making me depressed. This is lifting? U must be really depressed 😔 ☹️ to hear anything uplifting in this. I was diagnosed with GAD and clinical depression this isn't doing it for me.

I wasn't saying this song/band itself/themselves are what helped me overcome it (although i do love them to pieces). I was saying that it came out at a time when I was finally feeling myself again after years, and it's a personal anthem of that. I hope you get the help you need x

I think it says more about the state of today's charts than this song. If released at any ooint in the 80s, 90s or early 3000s (ie, pre social media era) it would have been a massive hit.
