I have both types of the empreinte key pouches. The bigger one i got in March 2021, and i just got the smaller key pouch today ( 12/05/2023). The newer one, is more flexible as its not as thick leather so more pliable. Still feels like very good quality.
I’m glad I found this video because I just ordered this tonight and was worried about how it would look. I have seen people say the embossing is too shallow and that it feels cheap. But I also think I will like the fact that it’s more flexible than the canvas one. I’m more excited to receive mine now
Interesting you said this. I have the larger empreinte key pouch and it definitly feels more substantial, thicker leather. I'm considering returning the smaller one.

Where was the new key pouch made? I have the larger older version and I love it! It is more like a wallet in my opinion but I was thinking about getting this one as well.
I just bought this key pouch yesterday, went home and compared it to my other emperiente black leather pieces (including the old no longer available key pouch you show in this vid) and the new key pouch feels… cheaper? Different texture leather? What’s your thoughts?
This is what I was afraid of. I got the 6 key ring holder and it was gorgeous. I got some more recent empreintes and they were disappointing to say the least
I definitely noticed a difference. But to me the texture of the leather feels the same. The true difference to me is that the older key pouch is leather lined, essentially two layers of leather. The new key pouch is the single layer of leather. You are getting a lot less for your money. However, I like the flexibility the single layer gives me on the new pouch. I can actually fit my keys and cards inside of it. This is important to me because I run out the door with out a purse all the time and throw my key pouch in my coat pocket. The older key pouch doesn’t fit well in smaller pockets so I usually use it with a purse but still have the option to grab and go if I’m in a rush. I hope that helps ☺️

I am able to put my Lexus key fob, 3 cards, air tag and 6 keys inside my canvas key pouch!! It’s amazing how much can fit inside

I agree. I like that it is thinner and not leather lined. I can fit car fob and a card plus.

It looks better without the car keys inside, it could stretch out the leather and not look as pretty
