Can you still raise the blinds up with these in place?
Hi there! Sure, you can raise the blinds. You'll first remove the bottom rail from the hold down brackets and then raise the blinds.
@@fixmyblinds It doesn't appear that you have any type of easy release. How do you release the bottom rail from the hold down brackets without grabbing tools and removing it, requiring reinstalling it?
@@juliekadams i usually bring the hold downs 1/8 of an inch away on both sides so you can flex it out without breaking it
What is it even for?
HI Autumn, Hold down brackets hold blinds and shades down at the bottom so that they don't move around. This is especially useful on doors. That way the blind won't bang around when the door is opened and closed.
