Personally, I don’t care where you review stuff. But I love all the reviews you have done so far. One suit that I think you might like is the Arena R-Evo 1, I’ve had one for a couple meets now and have so far really enjoyed swimming in it
Cheers for the feedback and glad you are enjoying. Yes I've seen that suit at a few meets. I hope you have been racing fast in it, I'll see if I can review one!
I was worried when I put it on and I could see my skin!! Thought it was too small (got 26 as well), but when I Jumped in, it felt GREAT! Definitely recommend it - seriously :)
Excelent video! Only one recomendation, would you compare the suits on a lighter spot to see the detail comparison? @TheSwimsuitGuy Would you please compare the flex and the flex vx on a next video? I still believe the flex has a longer lifespan than the new flex vx
Can I ask what suit do you recommend for sprint freestylers? I swim the 50 and 100 free and need a new suit. I currently have the tyr aviator venom. I heard about mizuno and arena suits and wonder what is the best.
As a fellow sprinter I can only recommend one suit, the Mizuno GX Sonic III (or IV) ST. It is a suit MADE for sprints and is just a leap above the rest in this department. It is what Caeleb Dressel wore for all his SCY records!
TheSwimsuitGuy thank you so much for the help. Do you think the arena carbon flex is good for sprinting? The only thing I don’t prefer on the mizuno would be the colors. Thanks again for the help!!
@@thegrandmaster4509 the Flex is alright.... But not a patch on Mizuno for sprinting. The Carbon Pro was even better for sprinting. If you actually care about performance then Mizuno is my recommendation it's an obvious difference. If you care more about design, then there are plenty of options.
I've seen people use and argue for both. If you are going to race a 200 or IM at any point etc get the MR, if you gonna keep it under 100 try the sprint.
I think a Carbon Air2 would be spot on for the 800/1500, not the most coverage, very comfortable and pleasent compression as well being light and water repellent. Sounds like a winning combination. If you want more support and coverage but still not a super compressing suit, maybe look into the original Finis Rival. Also very comfortable. For the 400 though the Mizuno GX Sonic III MR is the best, that's a short enough race to have some epic compression. I don't swim 400 but my mate who does was a 3.55 SCM and first race in Mizuno dropped to 3:47!!! He swears by it.
Hi i want to buy a arena carbon air suit size 22 but the official arena website doesn't ship to my country. Is there a website that you would recommend i buy the suit from? cheers!
For sprint events like you've mentioned absolutley the Venzo. It has the most compression of them three and also the snap from taping. The Air and Venzo are light and mobile suits.
@@andersinga3654 26 then. It's very similar to original air. Just loses the seam and a little internal materiel. I show everything in the video. Fit is identical.

Fantastic, detailed review!
Cheers 🥰
We need an air 3 with some dual layering
Awesome review again! God bless, keep up the mind-blowing work! Can’t wait to see the GX sonic 4 review!

How long does it take to put on

This is definitely my favourite video on your channel mate.
Great race and a great review on the suit
Cheers!

@TheSwimsuitGuy Would you please compare the flex and the flex vx on a next video? I still believe the flex has a longer lifespan than the new flex vx
I unfortunately only have the Flex VX and not an original Flex so can't make that comparison but you may well be right in terms of durability.
Hi sunny this is for the arena carbon core fx entry this is my favourite video and my favourite jammer thx
How much of a estimated difference does it make in 100 fly with training suit and with carbon air 2?
Can I ask what suit do you recommend for sprint freestylers? I swim the 50 and 100 free and need a new suit. I currently have the tyr aviator venom. I heard about mizuno and arena suits and wonder what is the best.

TheSwimsuitGuy Thank you so much for the response and feedback!
which suit would you prefer for breaststrokers , the carbon air2 or the flex vx
Air2 but it's a close call
Do you think the air squared is better than the TYR Avictor?
They are both suits with a similar approach and their own pros and cons but I prefer the Air2 personally.
Would you use a Mizuno st or Mr when swimming 100 breast?
I've seen people use and argue for both. If you are going to race a 200 or IM at any point etc get the MR, if you gonna keep it under 100 try the sprint.
With the price of air 2 and gx sonic 4st which is overall better for 100 event such as 100 free and 100 fly
4ST
I have a question.Which suit is better for 400 and 200 IM?Carbon air or Carbon air 2?
Air2. They are almost identical the 2 is just more refined.
Thanks for video!
Inrteresting, was Italian brand Arena intentionally named Carbon Air close to sounding "carbonara"?😅
Best suit for 100m fly and back???
Mizuno GX Sonic IV ST!
Suits for distance swimmers?? For swimming 400 800 1500 freestyle???

Thank you!!! But is the tyr suit good for distance swimming?
@@wyattsantos8697 no idea, TYR us one of the few brands I haven't tried unfortunately
@@TheSwimsuitGuy what about for the i.m events? What suit would u recommend?
@@wyattsantos8697 still Mizuno.... The two best IMers (chase Kaliz and Kosuke Hagino wear it).
which size do you recomend if Im size 30 in speedos briefs or size 32 in arenas briefs??
26/28 but check size guides
hello sir , love wathcing your videos , could you do a review on the madwave forceshell
Cheers mate. I'll try to in the future
Thanks! So you used to use 26 and now on air2 you are also 26? Tiny but you were able to fit in?
I swim 50,100,200m Breaststroke and 800m,1500m,400m and 100m freestyle.
What should I buy? Arena Carbon Glide, Air2 or CoreFX?
glide or air2 because if you do long distance with the core Fx it might hurt after a while, with the carbon air2 you dont have that problem
Hi i want to buy a arena carbon air suit size 22 but the official arena website doesn't ship to my country. Is there a website that you would recommend i buy the suit from? cheers!
Proswimwear? eBay? What's your country?
Have you tried out the new mizuno?
I have got it but am yet to use!
Is this suit less durable than most suits like the original? If so, is it very noticeable?
Nothing major, just less seams so less to go wrong.
I've been wondering which is better the TYR avictor, venzo or the arena carbon air. My main event is 50 100 free and fly.
For sprint events like you've mentioned absolutley the Venzo. It has the most compression of them three and also the snap from taping. The Air and Venzo are light and mobile suits.
My 50 free is faster!!! But great review on the suit. might try it out in my sophomore year season of high school to see if I can go faster!!!
Nice man that's fast swimming. Is it faster in SCM or SCY though ;) this is meters!
@@TheSwimsuitGuy the FLEX
which suit would you prefer for butterfly 200 meters?
Id rather not swim 200 fly what so ever ahah. Milak and Chad were the Air2 though!
Size 26 for 6’2”? I’m 5’6” and wear size 28 training jammers. What size should I get?
Check size guides but I'd guess 22
What do you think of the 2020 list? Also what is your take on the upcoming carbon glide?
I'm excited. I'll be getting the suits soon and will be uploading full reviews once I've tried!
Do u think for 200 breastroke its better to use gx sonic 3 mr or air 2
How much compression do you like?
I want good compression and a durable suit that could last longer
What events does the carbon air favours over the mizunos
@@isaacng45 durability then Mizunos. If you like compression Mizuno. If you want lightness, comfort and mobility carbon Air.
Size?
26 for me!
I have 26 in my flex VX and 26 in normal air which size do you think i need in the air2

Yes
@@TheSwimsuitGuy thanks dude
Arena Carbon Air 2 or Carbon Glide for 1500m?
Air2
Do you swim short course yards or meters? I’m American and just interested.
Yes this is a 25m pool. Also race LCM. Dream of trying scy one day
We train in meters
someone help, i can’t fit my… yk… and it’s the good size
Maybe you need a size up, or just be patient ahah
@@TheSwimsuitGuy the length etc is good but it’s keep going to the side lol
i can use it for training ?
It’s a racing suit
@@TheSwimsuitGuy thank you
It’s not the carbon air squared....
It’s actually just called the carbon air 2 ( two )
I mean Arena never corrected me... I think I am right 😉
Carbon Air or Air 2?
Air 2 unless you can get epic deal on air now!
you are telling us that you wear a 26 suit, being 6.2 inches????? feels absolutely impossible...
Yes ahahh clearly not impossible!!!!
