Cheers guys for hanging out today, and we covered a lot of turf with OPR and basic mecha weathering. We are now into the stream 2x a month schedule for the summer time (north of the equator). Please leave comments and questions below, thanks!
Damnit man, I was hung up today and missed the stream! Now I gotta wait for 2 weeks to see the next one. At least o got something to do for the rest of the night.
@@scaleartsg did you miss it too!? I’m actually salty because it’s mecha stuff and that’s my jam. I sit through all the tanks and air plains and then miss this!? Just my luck dude
Nice stream as always, Mike. If you like Barbatos (so do I) please don´t hesitate and grab a MG. One of the best gunpla kits I´ve had my hands on, though I haven´t built the RG Nu Gundam yet... I´m building a 1/35 T-90 by Zvezda - nice fit and cheap kit, 25-30€ here in Spain. Happy modelling and cheers from the burning city of Madrid, one week heatwave at the moment, 38-40ºC by day, last night 26ºC....
I reaaaaaally like the look of that water color thing you did with the pencil. That has my gears turning. I might need to get some water color pencils. I wonder how well it would do with weathering.
@@rs.p I may have to give that a shot then. I've got yet another question for you. Do you weather say a space subject differently then what you would a terrestrial subject? I feel like the answer is yes, but I'm wondering how you do/would approach a space subject like a mobile suit that has only operated in space combat.
@@mechadroit it’s only really going to change from the lack of earth effects. All the other forms of weathering could or can possibly apply. Assuming it’s based on a gravity based mother ship, fluid leaks and the like would still have a similar look being that gravity in truly universal. From there it’s determining the base material as ferrous or a form of alloy/gundarium, etc
Fantastic as always! So much knowledge

Thank you Antonio, I will! And sending cool(er) vibes from Portland! ❄️

I list the KINGART set in the description and at its $20ish price on sale, is a steal.
