i like this take, i was kind of imagining someone's thoughts swirling around them. maybe all of their emotions and feelings are physically manifested celeste-style and they're swimming through them, lost and confused. you might even say... scattered and lost
With that downtempo section my brain was begging for the massive qoir and rock orchestra to come bursting and just rip the floor with energy. We go from a calm rpg to dmc in a snap.
I just recorded the MIDI playback in Reaper but I edited the theme to let me color the notes and I turned up the contrast. I'm also using DaVinci Resolve to get the shimmering effect
I use Reaper! It doesn’t come with any instruments, but almost all of the instruments I use are free software (with the exception being one of the pianos I use, Noire by Kontakt)
I use Reaper but I changed the theme a whole bunch so it doesn't really look like Reaper anymore (and then I added the shimmering effect thingy with DaVinci resolve)
Mayhaps... atm i'm pretty busy and i'm not sure if i'd have loads of time to score an entire game, but that would be really fun and it's definitely something i'd like to do in the future. Eventually I'll probably link an email in my about me section so that people can contact me about this stuff. I actually did partially write music for a newgrounds game a couple months ago. It starts with like the third or so video on my channel if you haven't seen it already. That's cool that you think that my music could work in an indie game!
@@snazzy_spider My twin and I are working on a personal project, and when I heard your music, I felt it perfectly captured the vibe we're going for. In fact, your music is a big source of inspiration for our indie project :)
that sounds terrifying lol. i've only managed to partially make a microtonal song and that was in 17edo. i was recently thinking about going back to finishing that one actually
@@snazzy_spider in 16edo the fifths are ao flat that when you stack them 4 times you get a minor third instead of a major one, and vise versa for stacking 16edo's 525c fourth 5 times
This makes me feel like I'm walking through an enchanted forest, and then I meet the ancient guardian of the forest
Feels like I re-awakened a civilization.
"Ah... hello traveler. What is it you seek on your quest? Please sit and talk with me"
this feels very hollow knight-y great job super talented man
It's beautiful. Feels like a song that would accompany someone lost in their own confusing feelings. Love perhaps?

@@snazzy_spiderLENA RAINE??? WHAT THE FUCK IS A BAD SONG 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (I love celeste and I absolutely love this)
"Long ago, in an ancient kingdom..."
“Wish to dance on the stars together?”
"I've expected you..." ahh music
its so simple but it genuinely wouldn't feel out of place in a game from team cherry
youre an amazing musician!!!
Thank you! Christopher Larkin is one of my favorite video game composers

this just sounds like fnaf world
This sounds Great! Also I'm curios what software do you use to visualize your MIDI?
I just recorded the MIDI playback in Reaper but I edited the theme to let me color the notes and I turned up the contrast. I'm also using DaVinci Resolve to get the shimmering effect
Quite reminiscent of gravity falls
What app are you using? The lay out looks beautiful
Thank you! I’m using Reaper as my daw, but the shimmering effect is done via DaVinci Resolve
What music studio do you use! Please tell me
I use Reaper! It doesn’t come with any instruments, but almost all of the instruments I use are free software (with the exception being one of the pianos I use, Noire by Kontakt)

You should put your stuff on Spotify! :)
