Johannes is the only dancer on strictly who makes me feel emotional every time I see him dance. Whether it's with joy, or just in complete awe, I can't help but notice him and see how he is giving it his absolute all. He was born to dance for the world.

They are brilliant together but I'm afraid I have a serious problem in tearing my eyes away from Johannes. He is a fabulous, incredible dancer who puts his body and soul into every dance. His joy for what he does is almost tangible. Just love him to bits. Can't wait for tomorrow nights dance.

He's so good, he's definitely gonna be one of the forerunners. I dunno why he was worried about being flamboyant though, that's literally what the cha cha's made for haha. I'm so glad for Johannes, I think he's really gonna bring some interesting choreography and with John's potential he can go to town.
For a lot of gay men, flamboyance is something that we’re told off for and are always pressured to suppress. It’s “not right” for a man to be over the top. It’s hard to do something you’re normally judged or punished for and it can take a lifetime to reclaim it.

Pure joy to watch. Love them, love their routine, and love the fact that they are enjoying themselves.
I love these two together. They brighten up the show. John is such a charismatic and sexy guy, he channelled that into the cha cha cha and did amazingly well. I love his physicality and I personally liked the choreography. There strong chemistry between these two. They're going to be scoring 9s and 10s in no time.

John has really good rhythm and his timing with Johannes was immaculate. Some very good technique on show too. Maybe a little WD40 is need to loosen the hips a bit more and it would be nice to see them dance together a bit more rather than mainly side by side. 8

Oh yes John this was great, I love the connection and the start was fun! His hip action was good, the Cuban breaks were spot on, his side by side work was clean with no mistakes, his new yorker was sharp and he is very rhythmical and neat. I wish they would do more time in hold because it would look really nice and its a shame they didn't do more but still great dance. Johannes has definitely got his go to partner this year. I think they could win, exciting times! *8/10* (as much as I love Anton it wasn't a 7 boo!)

Excellent ! No comparison to the Cha-Cha with Caroline and Catherine, just shows what having a different calibre of partner can do in terms of choreography. Johannes must be in his element this year, he can really showcase his partner and his teaching skills.

Another amazing routine from these two! They are fast becoming my favorites. Amazing musicality, outwards performance, footwork and of course hip and leg actions were spot on aswell. I did think John could drive through the leading foot and leg actions just a tad more but that's going right down to the nitty gritty. Outstanding dance and performance!

I notice quite a few comments saying the same. I disagree. If the celeb can move, the pro should showcase it. It might not be you "typical" Cha-Cha, but it pushed John to keep up with Johannes, which I think he handled well.
@@paulwright6044 I am not saying it’s a bad thing necessarily, and you do have a point about showing off a partner’s ability. However, ballroom and latin dancing is a partnering discipline. And while this isn’t a typical ballroom competition, the dance style sets a certain expectation of partner work. Which is why you see a lot of people making similar comments as mine.
@@xogirlwonder most of them details are generally reflected in the judged scores, that's why 'we' sometimes disagree with low scores, which is why they will not get a 10's until later on, usually...

Wow. Johannes is sooo good. And that's no mean feat because a same sex partner to a pro dancer means an extra level of difficulty. He's often making the same move at the same time as his partner, so any difference in his technique, lines, or posture would be glaring. Johannes is so good, it's not always easy to pick out the pro here. 🏆?

WELL THIS WAS A GOOD OLD RAINBOW TIME WASNT IT!!! I mean John YES!!! Johannes YES!!! This was good, nice precision in the straight legs, clean armography, love all the isolations and love how you cover the entire floor with precise footwork and that ending PERFECT!! Would have like a tad more connections between the two (some traveling here and there), but wow wow wow LOVED IT!!!
