Lily reminds me of the chaotic cat who walks in during the cooking process and just starts creating chaos without any hint of shame afterwards. It's like Josh is in the middle of a sketch and he's the only one who didn't get a script.
Everybody was so good with each of their characters, but LucasJosh stole the effing show. A legendary roast. I need more! His bit was too short, I would watch a whole episode of Lucas as Josh messing with Josh while Josh tries to accomplish something.
lol, i don't read every comment on every video she's in and it struck me hard enough in this particular video to comment. it's a positive comment anyway.@@redeye1016
the thing about trevor is he is a surprisingly skilled cook solo but hed been unlucky in teams. when he made the ttaebokki you could tell jordan thought they outclassed josh even.
I always make my deep fried onions from scratch, and often in bulk because if you fry them at a low temperature until they dehydrate, they keep for a couple of weeks in a mason jar on the shelf and they're great for dressing up vegetable sides, sandwiches and burgers, or soups. Plus, you don't have to figure out where, exactly, in the grocery store they keep the fried onions.
@@calypsosaren3231 I did finally find them in the snacks aisle next to the potato chips and peanuts, but I still make them at home because I always have onions in the house, and it's a convenient thing to do while heating oil for something else because you're putting them in at a lower temperature and, small as they are, they don't drop the oil temp. Plus, you control the seasoning, not French's.
How is this MORE chaotic than the last one??? Just like an immersive theatre experience but with fewer nerds!!! HAHAHA!!!! YES!!! (There's always a smell too...)
Foil method works for frozen pizza too! If your crust doesn't cook all the way through to the bottom, cover the top of your pizza with foil so the toppings don't burn and put it back in the oven :)
I host thanksgiving for my husbands work buddies (a bunch of army dudes) for the last 11 years and cook all the food and people bring desserts and drinks and such. These are actually super usueful tips and it's not the first time ive actually used tips from this channel in my real life cooking, which is genuinely rare. Thank you 🥺
This are good tips that people might actually need. An undercooked turkey? Lump gravy? I've also burnt the top of the green bean casserole in my early years of making Thanksgiving. Sweet potato casserole used to be the one I always burnt, so I made sure to have extra marshmallows just in case.
@alisaishere I don't usually burn anything but the blending the gravy? I'm so happy to know that now. And the Mac n cheese thing with the cornstarch? I'll definitely be using that one, too. Just so useful!
I need a whole episode of LucasJosh being Josh at Josh while Josh tries to keep a straight face and cook/teach us something. LucasJosh is instantly my reigning all-time favorite MK character (im so sorry Emily)
This was so well done!!! I love how realistic it is to so many people yet hilarious and not realistic at the same time. Great tips in the middle of chaos! LOVE THIS!!!!
My favorite thanksgiving was 1996 my dad got drunk af and threw the turkey in the yard and tried to fistfight us. I went to the neighbors and got stoned af and had green enchiladas, drank a lot of crown watched the Cowboys play. Great year
In the vein of cursed Thanksgiving, I would love to see a Thanksgiving meal cooked entirely in a crockpot, be that one crockpot full of every meal or 12 crockpots of different dishes. Either way, a big mushy meal, including a whole turkey
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite segments on this channel, it's absolutely hilarious lmfao. Please please please do a Christmas episode, too!
my mom once turned on the broiler on thanksgiving and forgot there were things in that little drawer below the oven.......needless to say we have a burnt cookbook still in our possession
One time I was making thanksgiving dinner and our power went out and I had to do everything over our fireplace top!! That would be a funny challenge for him 😂😂
Every bit of this, especially Lucas making fun of Josh and then stealing his plate, is so relatable... So relatable that I started to feel really sorry for Josh. Like he said, LLVT made it feel just like real Thanksgiving. 😂😂
You just can't not love these people. Always a good time watching the mythical family. Can't get enough of Lily, from shy to her true self and just keeps getting funnier.
There's a growing trend in the US to skip the elaborate traditional holiday meal. A lot of people just don't feel like the meal is enjoyable if you stressed all day over the stove. Simpler meals like pasta, precooked ham that just needs to be warmed, simpler sides, desserts from a bakery. It really makes the day more enjoyable.
@@bcayemy parents and I used to do “tapas-giving” where we would just do a whole range of small plates/appetizery things. One year we went for appetizer trays, like cheese/charcuterie and smoked salmon.
I have never related to an episode more in my life. My parents always had a drink ready for my grandparents and frozen hors dourves or stuffed mushrooms to stave us off. Then my grandmother and I would watch Miracle on 34th St after the dog show (which was after the parade) to keep us busy
Late last April my wife and I moved to Alpharetta, GA, and ten days later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl we named Lily I bathed her in salted holy water after watching this episode to remove the stench of foreboding
I brought homemade, from scratch, green bean casserole to Thanksgiving two year ago & told my SIL that it needed to be reheated in the oven for 10-15 minutes before serving. Well… she didn’t realize the plastic lid on the Pyrex wasn’t oven safe. It fully melted onto the casserole and set the smoke alarm off… Yeah, she’s never living that one down
Soooo Trever and Lily are Josh's yin and yang children (or perhaps niece). Vi is his grandma, last time Nicole was a fangirl or perhaps young cousin who hadn't met cousin Mythical Josh? I love this schtick!
I'd like to see the Mythical Kitcheners re-create stoner foods and pregnancy cravings to be something that everyone would want. like make a stoner food/pregnancy craving into an actual meal
My family Thanksgiving story resurfaced by Josh pouring gravy into Lily's glass. When Thanksgiving was done, my grandma would store the leftover gravy in one of those small Tupperware juice jugs (with the white lid and push button to seal). My grandpa, the drinker he was, thought it was orange juice. Poured it into his vodka to make a screwdriver and saw it was gravy. "Can't waste good vodka" and drank it up. This was literally a family moment and I truly appreciate Josh for resurfacing that!
Lol 2 years ago I was hosting friendsgiving for the 5th year in a row and when I put the green bean casserole in I forgot to take the plastic lid off😂 😖
A missed opportunity to have Nicole be the sister who adds random spices into your food because she thinks she should be hosting thanksgiving
Everyday this show drifts further from a cooking show into being some kind of Friends style sitcom. Not that im complaining tho, keep it up
I was thinking Too Many Cooks
Had the same thought. In the best way tho lol
And I'm here for it, lol.
@@levischorpioen i actually hadnt seen this before but looking it up. I could definitely see the comparisons.
This channel is like the WWE of martial arts…not practical but so damn entertaining
Lily reminds me of the chaotic cat who walks in during the cooking process and just starts creating chaos without any hint of shame afterwards. It's like Josh is in the middle of a sketch and he's the only one who didn't get a script.
This description is hilarious and spot on
The cat that stares you dead in the eyes and slaps glass off a table
I’m pretty sure that they all are just improving mostly
Lily the conscientious, diligent, classically-trained chef living out her fantasy to be Wednesday Addams in culinary school.
Lucas as Josh was just ‘chef’s kiss’
“Track and Field! It’s still interesting!” 😂😂
Everybody was so good with each of their characters, but LucasJosh stole the effing show. A legendary roast. I need more! His bit was too short, I would watch a whole episode of Lucas as Josh messing with Josh while Josh tries to accomplish something.
Lily, in the kitchen, with the blowtorch
What gave you that clue? How about:
Vi in the kitchen with a cane
😂❤
Ah... The Clue reference..good job. I thought it was going to be Emily in the kitchen with a knife, but she did not show up!
Josh, his dismay plain to all
Going from sweet and silly Lily to, quite possibly the most terrifying person ever, is my favorite thing about this series
Once upon a time I was worried if Lily would fit in but she was in fact made for this show and its particular breed of chaos.
Absolutely this
Why is this on every video. She’s been fitting well for like a year now, we don’t need to keep saying this over and over again..
@@redeye1016why are you such a killjoy?

OMG psychopathic Lily just dead eyeing the camera while she torches Joshs food is always a joy, also Congratulations on the engagement Lily!
Josh having to drive his father to hospital on Thanksgiving multiple times for self inflicted cooking accidents explains so damn much😂.
I love that lily's hand still went higher than her own head after saying "I remember you when you were this tall" 😂😂😂
I love how Lilly as the edgy teen set fire to the food, and interacted with no one
Lily's scandalized "Joshua!" when the blender went off was hilarious 😂😂😂
Lily desperately trying to keep up with Josh's improv is hilarious
Josh needs to go on Guy’s Grocery Games
Ooh, he'd be good on that!
Agreed, Josh would crush at that.
Not to mention Guy Fieri is his hero
He'd be a natural
YES. He would easily be one of their most entertaining guests.
I love how you made Trevor the saboteur, because nobody ever wins with him on their team
Brutal but honest 😂
Not true he has been on a winning team before
the thing about trevor is he is a surprisingly skilled cook solo but hed been unlucky in teams. when he made the ttaebokki you could tell jordan thought they outclassed josh even.
You leave Turbo alone. He is the heart and soul of the Mythical kitchen…
‘S spunky little brother.
It’s so funny how he is clearly very skilled and talented but has the absolute worst luck of anyone

awesome man I never fry anything but onions should be baby level easy when theyre so small and chopped
They keep 'em next to the croutons and salad toppings. At least most places.

The main thing I think I learned here is, the Mythical Kitchen floor needs to be deep cleaned.
I love when they find stuff there they lost in previous episodes.
Nah, they got an old granny mop and cleaned it up.
How is this MORE chaotic than the last one??? Just like an immersive theatre experience but with fewer nerds!!! HAHAHA!!!! YES!!! (There's always a smell too...)
I dont know if this happened or not, but we need Emily to come in as the Burbank Fire Marshal.
YES! And in general start bringing in a different Mythical crew member ala Lucas where they kinda know what's going on and Josh is wholly surprised!
@@IzumisChildOMG YEAH. A different crew member every time as the fire marshall is HILARIOUS. 😂😂😂
Josh does the dishes part is my new favorite section of mythical kitchen LMAO
Lily was the star side character here.. pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I took excellent notes from Josh. Don't let a manic with a blow torch enter my house and burn my onions on the green bean casserole.
Can't decide if I love Grandma Vi or pyro Lily more. Both brought absolutely delightful chaos 🤣
Josh doing the dishes is very captivating

I LOVE how much Lily has come out of her shell, this was such a chaotic episode and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I did not expect a Lions reference in this video! Love it, also love the crazy family member sabotaging, so funny

Vi's Nana is the best new character

Josh has new rival for King of Chaos...All Hail Lilly - Queen of Chaos
Slightly disappointed Trevor wasn’t twerking on the counter while screaming “FILM ME DOING A TIKTOK DANCE” in this one😂
Grandma V is the star of this episode for me 😂👏
Lily is a cenobyte in Josh's personal hell.
Josh making Lily completely lose her mind during the gravy is hilarious
