  • I skated the ADIDAS Tyshawn 1, Tyshawn Lows, and Tyshawn Jones 2 shoes. (The Tyshawn II shoes) This is a review of ALL three sneakers from Adidas to determine which one I, yes I like the best. I enjoyed my time with each one but admittedly I am NOT the biggest cupsole guy and it was a massive bummer for me at first YEARS ago when I first attempted to skate the Tyshawn Jones shoes and had to get use to the lack of board feel and overall general board feel. I in fact had to put them down and work my way back around to them and eventually ended up skating two pairs of them. I had the same, and to a larger extent issue with the Tyshawn Lows and they felt far to bulky and lacking in board feel before I years later got more use to skating that type of shoe in general and now kind of like bulky and wider shoes able to skate them with less MELTDOWNS and crying. I still do not prefer them over vulcanized shoes but they hit in their own way so darn good I see why many make any trade offs. The protection they often have, and that is the case with the Tyshawns is bar none truly. The longevity of the first two shoes are the best and held up exceptionally well for me and especially in comparison to the Tyshawn 2 shoes. Those ones upper and toe cap wise are super lacking, especially for the price range they come in at. I'm glad the first two are still in rotation just from the way they skate alone but maybe a suede version of the 2's could win me over. There's just something about that comfort AND protection from the upper neck of the mids and even the lows vs the two's that just by definition don't have and can't. Now for what they are they do have a RING around the lip of the neck of the shoe or collar but that's about it... All bad. Now the outsoles are something amazing to me and I feel clear the first two shoes easily. They all have great flick after you adjust if needed but the 2's for some reason threw me off and I had to try less if at all some reason for it to churn out the cleanest flicks. Real crisp once I got the hang of it. Review Wear Test

Not a problem, I feel the first two are the most fortified with the lows being the most and ultimately edging out the OGs, but to each their own as always. It’s just a plus that you can routinely find the first two on sale and massively so vs the 2’s since obviously that’s newer. I did catch some on EBay for $35 but nowhere near my size lmao. Typically if it’s a sea that good it’s because they have nothing close to an 11, it’s always 8.5 or below with my luck.

TLDR the Lows In my experience.
Easily the 2’s for the worse IN comparison that is. The Lows for me edged out the 1’s being the best! So the lows for me in my experience are the GOATS with the 1’s being a close second, honestly which ever is cheaper at the moment I’m grabbing between those two. I haven’t had the 1 remastereds so those while they look like the 1’s hardly really remastered I can’t say for sure on that. So If you go with the 1’s be mindful if it says remastered or not. I’d bet it’s the 1’s more or less though just guessing.
But either of those two I would say you can’t go wrong. So the Lows were my favorite offering comfort and longevity vs the others.
The 2’s are the least durable in my experience thus far but still hold up as of now well enough. JUST not for $100 imo. I don’t know a shoe where I’m down for that price since you can always find shoes cheaper, even the same model usually. The 480s come close.
Anyways the Ty Lows. The 1’s are dope but the lows come in and make them better to me with that suede bumper. The 2’s have comfort mostly in the outsole, not so much the collar of the shoe but nothing like the 1’s or Lows, and the Lows have a bit less than the 1’s which are the most comfortable overall but again I lost my flick quicker.

I had a pair of the 1’s and I tried the 2’s I like the 1’s more comfortable and I like mids plus the durability! I want to find the all suede ones

Yeah the way the ones hit with comfort just hug 🫂 your ankle especially. I mean it’s comfortable all around but that extra that the mids just don’t have since there’s literally… less shoe🤣 comes in strong. I have YET to skate a SINGLE SUEDE ONE and I know it’s just pure fireeeeee. I think I’ll start with the 1’s in a suede version. I was eyeing the red and white one when the remastered’s dropped.
