    Thank you Ari! YOU are TOO CUTE!
    Great job with the video, making it clear, direct, timely as well as great advice. I don't think I would have considered the Walkie-Talkie, but since I will be vacationing there with another couple..I will definitely get a pair of those. Capital Idea!! I know we have cell phones, but let's face it...Not everyone pays attention to their phone OR hears them chime or ring. and sometimes text messages get lost in space for anywhere from 10 minutes to 6-7 hours making for a painfully long delay in communication.
    I would also include suggesting travelers to take Emergen-C OR Airborne to take BEFORE they travel as well as packing it to take with them to keep their immune system up, especially this time of the year. I have been taking it twice a day for 2 weeks now, & will continue to take it up until & thru my stay to Punta Cana the 2nd & 3rd week of February.
    Thanks again! I hope I get the pleasure of meeting such a cutie when I'm there. Don't worry! I'm not going to hit on you. My heart is with another...I just think your cute, that's all

    Thank you for the useful information. Just a side note - no matter what voltage the outlet is putting out (110 or 220v) your phone will charge the same amount of time because it only uses about 5 volts, but you do need a plug that fits.

    Thanks for the video! Can you do a video on how the Dominican Republic is offering free insurance to US travelers staying at a hotel there, if they come down with Covid-19. I think it is until March 31 2021. I'm curious to know if you would stay at the resort during their quarantine period or be moved to a different facility. I have seen videos of this for Mexico (you would stay at the resort but just be quarantined to your room). Dominican Republic is also willing to pay for for your change of flight if you have come down with Covid-19 while staying on vacation there. I'm heading to Punta Cana Feb 21st so just want to understand everything fully.

    Hey Ari, great video! What's the weather like in mid-October?

    • @NittyGrittyTravelers
      @NittyGrittyTravelers  Год назад

      Thank you, Chris! In mid-October, the temperature begins to descend a bit and becomes a bit windier. Pool and ocean water also begins to cool down. Seaweed is a bit less, but it depends on the year (summer are the highest months). October is the third rainiest month and still within the hurricane season, although beginning to wane. Days also begin to get shorter (earlier sunsets and later sunrises). I hope this helps! 😀

    • @NittyGrittyTravelers
      @NittyGrittyTravelers  2 года назад +2

      I would pack them (just one or two though) since it can feel a bit chilly when you factor in the breeze at nighttime. Also almost all indoor spaces are air conditioned and cool.

    Thanks for the great info. I'm traveling to Punta Cana next week. Do i need to get a covid test before traveling? And also what are the protocols at the airport for travelers now?

    • @NittyGrittyTravelers
      @NittyGrittyTravelers  3 года назад +1

      You don't need a covid test to enter the DR. Travelers are randomly tested at the airport (a small percentage). Masks are mandatory in the DR.

    what they dont have aloe vera and other products in the DR?

    • @NittyGrittyTravelers
      @NittyGrittyTravelers  Год назад

      Of course 🙂 they’re just uber expensive in the resort shops (like at the airport shops) so it’s better and cheaper to come with yours. You can always go into town and buy locally but if you bring your own you can control which brand, size, etc. to bring and not having to buy what you happen to find in the store. Furthermore, you’ll have to add the price of the taxi (20-30 usd) depending on what hotel you’re staying in to the cost. It’s nice to have everything you need from day one as well 🙂
