I was trying to find a way that my mum could wear lipstick again and here you shared the so needed tips, we will buy the lip liners you mentioned and use the tips!! She barely wears make up except lipstick, she used to always wear coulourful lipsticks and we all loved it and so she did, but since she started having wrinkles she had to stop... now I will buy the lipliners and even if we are in cuarantine we will do Skype call to try and follow your video together :) THANKS SO MUCH FROM SPAIN :)

I recently came across a video how to line your lips to make a sagging sad mouth look more uplifted, can’t remember where, but it helped so much, bc when I’m not smiling I look angry, but with lipliner drawn on correctly the corners of my mouth looks uplifted. Would love to see some influencers do a video on that, so more could enjoy that knowledge.

Yes, ditto! I'd love to see Schellea with a dusty rose or mauvy pink lip to match her tongue and inside lip color....she'll look beautiful no matter what color, but have wondered about a different palette myself.
I think it is important to use a lip pencil that is pigmented and has some drag to it. A creamy pencil will bleed when it meets lipstick. In addition, the lip pencil should be waterproof. The best lip pencils are the ones that need a sharpener because the twist up pencils are too soft and cannot withstand pressure, which you need when sculpting the upper lip. With the lips covered with foundation and powder, you have a good canvas to really press down and draw in the shape of the upper lip. I find the bottom lip does not really need that much help. I think a brighter color looks more youthful though.
I have smokers lips even though I have never smoked. I'm wondering how to cover them up but it doesn't look fake. I love your idea about the lip stick e.t.c will be trying that. I'm new to your channel and I'm addicted. Even though I'm 65 still enjoy it. But things change from 50 to 60ish.

I can tell you love your Grandma from that endearing laugh and story. I'm sure she's very proud of you and your videos! My mom is in her twilite years, has less than a year to live according to Dr.'s... and I take her to the Dr. appointments and she always has bleeding fushia liptick!! 😍 Makeup is fun and no need to be afraid to have imperfections as we age because those are the things that endear us to each other (not gonna do them on purpose though! A A, I thought it was only me detecting the orangey coral look in her lip liner and lipstick. From my point of view, the inside of her lips look a little more pinky rose but I thought maybe it was just my screens color resolution. Her Tip to use a lip liner that matches the inside of your lip is a good one, but then it appears that she uses one that doesn't match her own lip. Sometimes ppl are a little color blind to certain shades...maybe that's my problem. However, she always looks STUNNING anyway!!

I find myself - in my early 50s - fronting two rock bands, having never worn much makeup to this point in my life, nor have I spent much time on stage until now. I especially have trouble keeping lip color on my lips because I accidentally bump into my mic, and to make things additionally challenging, I play harmonica, so that's another impediment to keeping the lip color on my lips. I've had trouble with lip stains because they tend to wear off everywhere but the inside of my lower lip; there's a margin between the inner lip and outer lip where the pigment accumulates and it just looks awful, especially frustrating because I'm opening my mouth constantly when singing and that area is really visible. Thank you for sharing your expertise, Shellea! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I love using City Lips from City Beauty. It’s a lip plumper and it has great stuff in it, it doesn’t make your lips sting. For me I use that and a lip gloss that matches my lips and I don’t have to use a liner it just looks very natural.

Well!! Ain't that a thing!! Never knew about not bringing the colour right to the outer lip, so had stopped wearing lipstick as it never looked properly done and I looked a bit clown like!! I can’t believe I haven’t watched this before. The tips for the lips are so amazing. I will definitely try them tomorrow when applying my makeup. By the way I put my make on everyday, it’s a rarity if I don’t. I have always done it( it’s just me).

I love using City Lips from City Beauty. It’s a lip plumper and it has great stuff in it, it doesn’t make your lips sting. For me I use that and a lip gloss that matches my lips and I don’t have to use a liner it just looks very natural.
