It's a one off, thank God, and whilst Elton and Harrg Enfield (as Stavros, but not Loadsamoney) were pretty good, the rest was dross. Julian Clary wasn't funny 30+ years ago and he isn't funny now. Rosie Jones is as amusing as a bladder infection and the naked trans "comedian" clearly doesn't understand what the word means.
I'm not sure as Ben would satirise Labour, should they be elected. He's a reliable old leftie, and I don't think his heart would be in it. Look at the left-wing American comedians, they're not particularly critical of old man Biden, most of them still talk about Trump.
This is without doubt the best take down of the absolute shit show of a Government we have now. It takes a lot to make Labour supporters miss Thatcher but that’s where we are now. At least she had principles and a moral compass even if many of her policies did more harm than good.

I too thought Ben Elton was fantastic, as sharp as ever. Harry Enfield, however, I thought was passable - a bit past his time. I've never thought Ronni Ancona was that great. Leo Wright, on the other hand, was superb - modern, sharp, relevant, aware and didn't take himself - or us - too seriously. He appealed to me at 59 and my daughter at 22 laughing our heads off and agreeing with much of what he had to say.
This was a car crash of a show. Desperately unfunny, woke, trash. It was as if Ben was brainwashed into doing this. The new comics were awful and token. The trans music act was disgraceful and offensive, nothing to do with gender. Shame on Channel 4.

I seen the first 15 minutes just to see if it was in tune with the current politically correct guidelines and unfortunately it was and i couldn't stand anymore of it. Ben Elton is a champagne socialist, if he had anything to say he wouldn't even be on TV. As for that band that was on after his intro, they are biggest pile of shit I've ever had the misfortune to hear, the song went "are you checking me out or are you just a racist " nothing funny about racist people no matter what colour the skin is, but nothing like mainstream TV when it comes to spreading hate and fear is there. Real comedy died with Bill Hicks.
