Front Street Animal Shelter needs help finding dogs home | Adoption fees waived

Sacramento's Front Street Animal Shelter is overcrowded with animals needing a home, so it hopes to clear the shelter by waiving pet adoption fees through Saturday, Dec. 23. Front Street said it was so low on kennel space last week that it kept a dog in an office. "This is probably the most full we've been since before the pandemic," said Ryan Hinderman, a spokesperson with the city shelter.
