Why Vladimir Putin’s Meddling May Be The Reason Behind The Russian Army’s Poor Show In Ukraine

  • Russian President Putin is reportedly micro-managing military operations in Ukraine. Western military sources claim Putin could be managing 700-1000 Russian troops at a given time. Putin and Russia’s Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov are reportedly involved in tactical decisions at “the level of a colonel or brigadier”. Western officials believe Putin's interference could actually be contributing to Russia’s failures in Ukraine. Is the Russian military facing rebellion on battlefield? Putin’s interference contributing to Russia's failures in Ukraine?

The parallels with Hitler are uncanny, including micro-managing battlefield troop activity.
The parallel now extends to announcing how new advanced weapons are going to change things.

You are spot on. In the Second World War the idea of assassinating Hitler was rejected because he was more use to us alive than dead; his constant meddling in military matters shortened the war considerably. I might add that the heroic sacrifice made by the Red Army was also decisive. At Stalingrad Russian soldiers were sent into combat without even rifles; history repeats itself.

Is this verifiable that Putin is micro/macromanaging the military. What is true is that Russia is centralised in every respect,That is factual.Napoleon was for 15 years a military genius for strategy but also had brilliant officers. Yes Hitler interfered with his generals and liquidated many and the WW2 may have had another ending but for that possible blunder and invading Russia. His arrogance and megalomaniac also made him open three fronts . The unsubstantiated sensational often shrill and hysterical reports feed on the dark emotional side of hordes of people. So why is this done? succesfully embroiling them in propaganda.Ultimately this is the tripe spewed out by goverments world wide and then embroil their people in hate revenge death and destruction.
It is in ones own interests as a citizen of your country and the world to remain sceptical until hard cold logical facts are given based on impartial assesments. If not and you swallow the garbage you will continue making the sounds emitting from a flock of sheep.

@@cleoraven4391 Not strategize, only tactics, Putin's overall strategy has led him to this point, which means it was a failure. Stealing Crimea and fermenting trouble in Donbass in 2014 has led Putin to this point, he thought he was being smart in 2014 when he did it, but the war in the Donbass was draining Kremlin coffers, as was the fact Crimea has no water, it must rely on external supply which largely came from 1 canal via the Dnipr. Ukraine stuck a dam across that canal and Crimea was crippled, plus Russia had to build a bridge at enormous cost across the Kerch Strait just to get supplies (largely endless supplies of fresh water) to Crimea.
Putin didn't plan for any of this and thought he could muddle through, but he has no reverse gear so he's got himself into deep sh*t now, and it was inevitable. He's spent years underestimating the Ukrainians and just seeing them the old Soviet way, he's stuck in the past.
Mearsheimer is a realist thinker, but even a number of realist thinkers don't necessarily agree with him on this. But Mearsheimer also believes small countries have no right to decide their own fate, so his thinking is very flawed.

I noticed Crux's reporting was always mirrored from other western media. The narrative is that Russia has been lossing in the war(which is true to some extent depends on location). But in telegram channels where reports are made directly from the battlegrounds, Ukraine also suffered equally heavy losses if not more.

    • @zacksulics8021
      @zacksulics8021 2 года назад

I have no doubt Ukraine is suffering more and losing more people especially civilians.
But Ukraine should of fallen quickly and hasn't if anything it is winning not because
of victory but because it has held it's own against all expectations. They have broken
one of the Great Russian Bears legs because it is barely moving.

    • @randomrandom4423
      @randomrandom4423 2 года назад +2

difference is that Ukraine has nearly endless suply of western weapons and other equpment. Russia in the other hand has no such a large ammount of resources. Also due to sanctions, it is hard for Russia to produce even close of that what it is losing in ukraine. Reasently US approved lend-lease 2.0. Similar deal, which provided about one 3rd of soviet unions trucks and fighter/bomber planes when it was fightin in ww2. It also provided 7000 tanks for soviet union and lots of other types of support. To British empire it provided about 3 times more resources. Russia is't going to win in the long term and short term victory is't looking too likely. They haven't gained much territory reasently and Ukraine keeps taking back lost territories (It is hard to deny because there is lots of video evidence of ukraininan soldiers in previously russian held territories).

    • @akogepayo
      @akogepayo 2 года назад

@@zacksulics8021 With the help of western weapons. You know, western pumping weapons into Ukraine is a double-edge sword. It deter Russia's aggression, but it prolongs the war that result in massive casualties, in Ukraine soldiers and civilians and Russia's soldiers. When civilians in Ukraine have created Molotov cocktails, and hype it up to the media, that where it started that civilian is no longer distinguishable from Ukraine's armed forces. Civilians has opened a can of worms in that regard. I saw how the Russian soldiers are too soft to confront civilians in Ukraine in the first phase of Russia's "special military operation" but when those Molotov started firing, civilian casualties are now being reported. The way I see it, if Zelensky offered to talk to the Russians before the invasion, this war never happened. But because of pride and we have the rights to apply for a NATO membership as a sovereign country(The US and NATO must have been promising Ukraine in all these years), Pres. Zelensky foolishly ignored the Russian troops leading to this war. It is a trio failure = NATO, Ukraine and Russia failed to prevent this war.
That's one of Ukraine's home advantage, they forced civilians to defend their country by arming them, but when they get killed, they are counted as unarmed civilians.

    • @zacksulics8021

@@akogepayo Nato said NO you can't
join sorry it will destabilise the Region
and we will talk again in 10 years. So that
was a NO from Nato. Ukraine never tried
to actually join Nato until after Crimea had
been invaded and annexed to Russia. So
that only made sense and any nation would
of tried to join to stop future invasion of
      their country.
Civilians where going to get killed anyway
it is how Russia wages war and thats not
me go look at it's history and it's recent
invasions of Chechnya Georgia etc etc.
Wanting to not be invaded at the barrel
of a gun and knowing Russian battle tactics
would leave you wanting to resist and that
is why civilians joined the territorial guard.
There is a big difference between them and
innocent women children and the elderly
who have been targeted the same as the
Ukraine army. I agree war is messy and
the line is very blurred and shit happens.
We do not have this war because of the
US or Ukraine or Zelensky who only came
to power in 2019. Zelensky also agreed to
never join Nato if it stops war. He has stated this many many times. This war is
because of Putin and his Hubris, I think
he is not well and does not really care about
Russia anymore just how he will go down
in history as a conqueror who expanded
      Russia's borders. The Russian economy
will be recovering long after he is dead.
Their was no problems in the region until
Putin created them and then created more propaganda to keep justifying his actions.
He has constantly lied to his own people
over and over removed almost all freedoms
as well as opposition. He is a Dictator pure

It is clear that those fighting for motherland never fall short of fighting spirit and morale while opposite side side simply follows orders and tempt to break down in morale easily.

President Putin must trust his Genetals and make changes in the command structure to suite battle field conditions. Targets would be achieved not by the timeline but by the tactics employed by individual officers with authority to move forces according to enemy tactics and advantageous actions. President Putin must give a free hand to decide the battle field challenges and support their morale as every soldier counts in the victory of a conflict. This is a hit and run warfare that is the key to make necessary adjustments for the strategy planners in Russian Army.
