the scenery with the fj looks just fab! I don t seem to ever tire to watch you negotiate the trail. another tough one, 8/10 difficulty I d estimate. testament to your skills, you don t have much damage considering how the path is a rocky nightmare. good show bro!
You sure got to test your current set up, seemed to do very well. Everyone has a re gear and a front locker on their list, we sure do on ours. We need to get our winch mounted on our FJ, that would be a huge help for us. Great video, thanks again for sharing. Cheers 🍻
Wow you have some mad driving skills. I have almost the same build as you. 3 inch lift on milestar 34s. I did a regear. I'm glad I did we did 4.56. cuz it's my wife's daily driver. What a difference. 4.88 would have been my choice if only off roading with it. So at 65 mph it runs at 2100 rpm. And we got back 2 mpg. If you ever come to So Cal I'd love to wheel with you. I'm in Santa Ana near Disneyland. Big Bear is a great and popular mountain for wheeling. Love your films. They are getting ready good. Steve green so cal
Great. gbgsmg@gmail.com is my email. I don't check it but maybe once a week. I'm 60 years old and don't really like computers. Don't even have one. Just this phone. What a troglodyte. Right?
Hey, I’m from Boise too. I just found your video today. I bought my FJ yesterday. Do you have videos/info on your mods (bumbers/skid plates/lifts and tires)? Would love to know more about your rig!

I have removed my rear sway bar. Removing the rear sway bar makes almost no difference in driving feel while on road, unlike removing the front sway bar which makes a HUGE difference in body roll. I think that it is totally safe to remove the rear. I did need longer brake lines, not because of removing the sway bar, but because the rear shocks and coils are extended travel.
Yes atrac doesn't go away. You can use atrac, but with the front locker turned on atrac won't engage because the wheels aren't spinning at different speeds.

Love the video. Perfect combination of actual offroad use and some commentary.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching!
This looks like an awesome trail!
It was a lot of fun! Thank you for watching!
Ruggedly beautiful area.

Yeah that was a fun one!

Nice run!!
Thanks! It was a ton of fun!
How have you guys liked the milestar’s? I’ve been contemplating them for a while now. I’m in Salt Lake City and also have a fj.
They've been awesome so far! Thanks for watching!
I've got a question. You have removed your rear sway bar. Do you feel it's safe to drive on streets that way? And did you need longer break lines?

Can you keep the A trac if you have a front locker?

Lockers needed for this trail?
I'm sure it could be done without.
Is this trail on OnX maps?
I'm not sure. I didn't have onx at the time.
Before the FJ got stuffed up completely, not to mention the ridiculous build.
Thanks for watching!
Still running sway bars?
I took mine off completely And is the best free mod ive ever done
I currently have the rear off but the front on. I've had the front off before, I may take it off again, we'll see. Thanks for watching!
