Very sharp TJ, strong build and stance. I have an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn and it's by far the best vehicle I've owned. The TJ is still my favorite generation of Jeep. Nothing beats the 4.0 I6! The Rocky Mtn came with a Dana 44 and 3.73 gears making this one bad ass rig to build on. Among the best mods was getting the Currie correct drag link and tie rod. Rancho RS5000X shocks and steering stabilizer. O|||||||O 🇺🇸Only in a 2 dr🇺🇸 '41 - '06
@@_everydayoffroad_ Once you get a Currie drag link and tie rod, your TJ will handle those 35's perfectly. After I installed this, it made a huge difference! That stock tie rod as you know is a tooth pick. Currently, I have 32" Bfg KO2's and these are awesome on and off road. Was thinking of going to 33 x 12.5 but not too keen on the regearing expense. Plus this TJ is quick and if I go up to 33's, I hear they become sluggish. As it is, this TJ does well off road, so I probably will just stay with this setup.
Nice TJ 👍😊I have the same lift on my 06 rubicon, had t replace the track bars.. they were flexing, replaced with JKS track bars.. love your wheels and tires👍😊 waiting for my synergy steering kit.. I put a FOX stabilizer on mine as well ,it helps..
I love my Currie steering too. But if I was to do it again. I would get a kit with the 1 ton TRE. Paying $70-80 per Currie TRE is annoying. Plus you can get 1ton TRE at any corner parts store.
I have the IDENTICAL jeep. 03 in Khaki with the same color top, Rubicon Express 3.5inch lift with the same sway bar discos, sitting on 33s. It rights HELLA softer with the sway disconnected btw, like night and day. Rides decent on the road without it also, nothing scary. Just leave the back on. Also, changed the shocks to Rancho R5000X and it softened it right up, no more back aches on rough roads lol.
Do the steering first! Get the Currie Correctlync and forget it. If you lock that front dif and start testing it, you will bend the tie rod and ruin your day.
@@_everydayoffroad_ and they are stock axles with 35s? How long have you been wheeling on 35s? I have the same axles and going from 33 to 35 but am planning to regear and upgrade axles pinion etc. Hoping they can handle wheeling in Colorado cuz I can't afford new d44 or 1tons.
99 Sahara Owner here. I’ve owned 10+ jeeps in my life. No matter what, I always wish I was in my TJ.
Nice TJ. Have to agree with the 4.56 gears. It just goes on it’s own and has plenty of torque.
Enjoyed the video

Good looking Jeep

I agree with you, I like the factory look too....I've got an '04 Rubicon with a 4" lift n factory fenders/flares
Sick tj , love the Currie steering on my 98

Those wheels are awesome! What brand and style are they?
Awesome tj
that's how a jeep should be with a manual transmission NICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! , i have 4.56 gears too and 35 inch tires on my jeep yj
nice setup
Super clean. What front bumper?
I have 33's with 4.56. It is also perfect. 2750 RPM's in 5th gear doing 75mph on freeway.
Nice TJ...what bumper and tire carrier are you using?
Hey bud, can you drop that link for the spotter switch please?
Clean build. I’ve been eyeing that fishbone front bumper for awhile. How much does it weigh? I’d like to go aluminum but I like that bumper

Love it! I have a Metallica khaki as well. What wheels are those, and what headlights?
Looks like you’re on about 105 acres in Franklin County.
😍😍😍👍👍👍
What wheel/ tire set up are you running?
✌️✌️✌️✌️
Got the same jeep but a 03 model. Got Dana 44 in the rear. Front and rear locked. 3.73 gears but I wanna go to 4.56 or 4.88
I got the ‘03 X too. Swapped in a rear D44 with a trutrac. Powertrax locker in the front. 4.56 gears on 33s
4.56 will put a big smile on your face while driving or wheeling the TJ. Go for it.
We have twin jeeps and I live in Alabama too lol
Make that triplets I’m in Louisiana 👍
Do your wheels have any offset for the 35x12.5 tires?
I sold my TJ Rubicon 6 months ago... not a day goes by I don’t think about her 🤣
I’ve got a JKU now, still great but something about a TJ...
Roll Tide! Where's this at?
Nice Jeep. I want to take mine to the beach or easy trails. But she's a city Jeep. She needs some work before I can take her off road.
nah man just do it! you'd be surpised what your jeep can do
just make sure you lower your tire pressure especially on the beach
What front and rear and do you have are they Dana 44’s

What bumper tire carrier is that?
@@_everydayoffroad_ I had the same question but you answered it! That’s a good looking rear set up. Too bad you don’t know what bumper it is.
A Jeep I am going to look at soon has been re geared to 4.88, is this bad?
No, most lifted Jeeps have been re-geared. Just make sure the quality of work is good.
