Really helpful thanks. As a 40 year old runner, this is the sort of thing i have to do after every run especially with the hips, glutes and lower back - some new moves in here which looking forward to giving a try
Great routine! However wouldn’t this be more beneficial after a run? Isn’t it well researched that static stretching before activity can lead to injury and that a dynamic warmup would be better suited for pre-run? I’m genuinely asking because you have more running experience. This is just what I’ve learned from a lifetime of organized sports and cycling.
I think he's not running right away and he will still do dynamic warm up and drills before his run. I will definitely do this after my run after foam rolling
I personally stretch before, usually about 30/1h before simply because after a run I can never be bothered. If I run in the am and then get tightness in the evening, I’ll stretch again before bed. Stretching is better than no stretching for injury in my opinion- as long as you add it into your routine I see it as beneficial
It’s normal to have a little unbalanced tightness. I’d say if you are someone who gets this, stretching is of greater importance as well as single leg strength work to iron out any imbalances
Loved how you didn't plug in any background music, Ben. Don't hear enough silence these days. I find it calming.😌
Thanks for sharing Ben! Your core workouts and stretching series have been really helpful!

Enjoy Thomas, glad to hear yours still enjoying your running 🙌🏻
I really liked this one. My hips are my main tight spots so I have been working on hip mobility and strength. Thanks

@@kenvysmiguel8817 after run for sure. Doing it right now.

But it's better to stretch before run? Or better after? Do you stretch always before run or only sometimes? Thanks!!
I think it's better when you do mobility routine before a run (if you're feeling tight than usual), then a static stretching routine after a run.
Aye Ben recently got some shin splints on one leg what are ways you would go about it thanks
Does anyone else have issues with just their right hip flexor always being tight and the left one is 100% fine
yes! I attribute it to driving.

justice for the calves and hamstrings
Funny you should say that, the calf and hamstring stretches got cut. Had to fit it into 10mins 😂 should have made it 13 minutes 🫡
Can you recommend calf+hamstring streches? i would like to do them also, thank u!@@BenIsRunning
These exercises would be better appreciated without a shirt! 🥰🥰🥰
