- In which the Gentleman Gamer in his Pentex role takes on the kings of manipulation, dissent and dodgy dealings - namely the Shadow Lords.
Are the Lords a threat to Pentex when all they seem to care about is one-upmanship within their own ranks? Can the information they accumulate and disseminate actually harm the Wyrm's chosen corporation?
I think another reason Shadow Lords can get the one-up on the children of Cain is that the Kindred are racked with division, while the Shadow Lords (by and large) have remained locked together, in a manner that is very mafia like but nonetheless effective. Shadow Lords are raised in a pack and are indoctrinated from youth to do nothing unless it betters the Tribe. They won't even kill rivals unless they are sure they can do it quickly and decisively. Surely that must factor in as well.
Sounds like the Shadow lords are like a nastier beastier version of the Lasombra.

Ha! I hate all of the tribes of Gaia. Hatred is a powerful weapon to use against them. The Shadow Lords do warrant a degree of respect however, for their wonderful skills at destabilising the Garou Nation on our behalf.

Now ideally you don't wanna make an enemy of any of the Garou, but you really don't want a Shadow Lord for an enemy. They've spent thousands of years doing the dirty work of the Silver Fangs. They have no problem getting their claws bloody.

Never encountered The World of Darkness before I found this channel and I have to admit that I have been quite fascinated with it ever since. I do like the darker settings, something which drew me to Pathfinder over D&D (Not saying Pathfinder is all that dark but it has a little bit of it in there). Not only have you broadened my interest in roleplaying games but you have also improved my vocabulary. You have become one of my favourite youtubers in a very short amount of time. I hope that you continue doing what you do as well as you do it for a very long time!

I might add that Pentex can be hurt far worse with pen and paper than the later mentioned methods. I also chuckled at your formori guards. You did have one thing absolutely correct, you and your kin, most assuredly do underestimate the Lord's!

Agreed the Shadow Lords are known to have the deadliest Ragabashes who can get in and out with all sorts of info that can hurt Pentex.
As a female Homid Shadow Lord Ragabash I played in a WtA 2nd Edition campaign named Sara stated "While yes my teeth and claws are deadly weapons my deadliest weapons are all the secrets I have with me I wonder what would happen to Pentex and it's subsidiaries should word leak out about the revelations that Pentex and it's subsidiaries launches covert military operations with their First-Strike teams to break human mass murderers out of prison to serve as covert assassins, and their personal hitmen, that their scientists conduct inhumane genetic experiments on innocent humans with the purpose of turning them into the inhuman monsters that are the true origin of the modern Formori, supply drug-lords with illegal Wyrm-tainted drugs created by their scientists and then have the many many corrupt lawyers under their employment use various illegal tactics to keep said drug-lords out of prison, and of course the revelation that Pentex and it's numerous subsidiaries have on multiple occasions defied federal law in particular the National Parks Act, and the various restrictions set in place by the EPA by attempting to illegally strip mine National Parks of their natural resources yes I wonder what would happen to those Wyrm-serving scumbags should all the various crimes and other monstrous acts be exposed and the humans you view as clueless idiots see the real Pentex oh I do wonder what would happen and how the Wyrm-serving scum would attempt to salvage they're now ruined reputation."

Hey GentlemanGamer, have you had a chance to look at the basic rules for D&D5E? If so, any thoughts on the rules thus far?
I've not really had a good look at them, to be honest. So many other people are reviewing D&D5 that I'm not in too much of a rush to join. Once I get through a few of the games I'm more inclined to run and play, I'm sure I'll reach it.
Are you going to be making videos for the remaining tribes or the other changing breeds? These are quite informative.
