The Blood Brothers sound very much like the combiner Transformers / Power Ranger gestalts of the Vampire Masquerade world. Imagine a group of Blood Brothers shouting "Blood Brothers combine! Merge for the kill and form Abominus!"
oh wow, so Uruguay is inside the World of Darkness lore? As an Uruguayan, I'm surprised. Not that it matters, but i just want to point out a couple of silly points in your video: 1) The location you mention is "Rio Negro" and it literally means Black River. Is a river that cuts the country in half and also a State. 2) Uruguay official language is Spanish, so the bloodline would be called "Hermanos de Sangre". Maybe that was what you said, but by the sound of it it came out as Portuguese to my ears. Again, super silly things to say. Love your videos. I'm not really an rpg player, but I'm a sucker for the lore, and your videos are simply fantastic on that regard. Cheers and thanks for the content.
(Going off your human centipede comment) I had a surreal experience when I watched Human Centipede 2. The main character in the movie is a night shift security guard who works in a parking garage (as do I). The beginning of the movie shows him sitting in his office watching the first Human Centipede on his lap top (demented fanboy story). I was watching #2 on mine while doing the same thing he was doing. It was almost like watching a warped demonic version of myself through a fun house mirror.
Torquemada. All pay heed! Now enters his Holyness, the Grand Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition! Torquemada do not implore him for compassion Torquemada do not beg him for forgiveness Torquemada do not ask for mercy Torquemada lets face it ya cant talk'him'outta'anything! Hey Torquemada what'da say?
I never been interested in the blood brothers but you made them truely scary and interesting instead of silly and actually intrested if I ever run a vamp game again of using them :)
Those things are Tzimischi war ghouls, possibly of the Vozhd variety. They were at one time human (or multiple humans), but have been so warped by fleshcrafting that you'd never know it.
Alternately, the blood brothers could be exactly as what the Old Clan Tzimisce claim them to be, a sentient extra dimentional demon sharing a hive mind through the Viniculum that's slowly claiming more and more members of the sabbat though thier blood rites and mass embraces. In a way, even more frightening, something akin to the biblical story of legion.
On the topic of things that should not be, could you maybe discuss Prometheans sometime? I know they have nothing to do with Kindred but I find them intriguing and I unlike almost any other paranormal creature I could care to name there seems to be precious little written about them.
I just imagine that a malkavian would laugh when see this Blood Brothers (especially the part that they change heads), so like old cartoons like Looney Tunes.
Indeed! While I have always played the more "mystic"-and strange clans/bloodlines (Giovanni, Kiasyd, Baali, Tzimisce, Malkavian and of course, Tremere) the Gargoyles have-from their beginnings to these modern nights- fascinated me to no end.
Would the strange, giant, amalgam creatures in the sewers of "Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines" be Blood Brothers? I don't recall them naming those things specifically one way or another.
Having watched this video as well as Sabbat warriors, I've come to love the idea of using celebrity Blood Brothers :) Two spring to mind: The first is a circle composed of Nicholas Cages at various stages in his career. The most senior one would be the one whose hairline has receded the most. The other, well... search youtube for Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy
love the vids i have a question i kinda want to play this rpg with my dnd group but i need to know which books i need i was checking online but found a huge list could you tell me what core books i need? thanks in regard
Wonderful... there goes my Sadistic imaginations... I have to find other means of toying around with a Blood brother that would eventually lead to their demise...
I wonder - how plausible would it to have blood brothers as a player character?. Or perhaps all of the player characters could be blood brothers? - Though in that case I think something would have to happen that would allow each vampire to regain a sense of individuality.
It doesn't sound like something that should be in vampire it should more akin to a promethean. It truly is bizarre and it would go well with many other games you could do.
The whole party? Sounds like an interesting campaign idea but I don't know how well RP would work if all players had the same personality. Interesting thought though. If I ever get deep enough into RP gaming to GM a game I might do that.
14:20 And then start making pop songs. And people listen to them. And it doesn't sound like music anymore. And it doesn't matter if they are Gaga or Souja Pig. HORROR! HORROR!

+Andres Bianchi Thanks for the pointers! You'll find out more about the Blood Brothers in Beckett's Jyhad Diary, an upcoming Vampire book.
+The Gentleman Gamer Thank you for the reply and the info! I wiill look into it!
"with their many coiffures"
Nice delivery.
Also good job staying in character through that.

Blood Brothers: You're not gonna stop what we've made together! We are gonna stay like this forever!
They're an odd bloodline, that's for sure.
Torquemada.
All pay heed! Now enters his Holyness, the Grand Inquisitor of the Spanish Inquisition!
Torquemada do not implore him for compassion
Torquemada do not beg him for forgiveness
Torquemada do not ask for mercy

Hey Torquemada what'da say?
I refer all questions to my colleague Harold Zettler.
I never been interested in the blood brothers but you made them truely scary and interesting instead of silly and actually intrested if I ever run a vamp game again of using them :)
Just the Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition from drivethrurpg.

Thank you for saying so!

I think they make good antagonists for a good few supernatural entities. Truly weird.

Vampiric Elvis:"Drank you. Drank you very mush."
This is the most Toreador take on Love possible.
Excellent!
Just want to thank you for helping me much in setting up my next campain :)
I just imagine that a malkavian would laugh when see this Blood Brothers (especially the part that they change heads), so like old cartoons like Looney Tunes.
Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. But I thought I remember that Tzimischi implying that those things were his. So I'm not sure.
Indeed! While I have always played the more "mystic"-and strange clans/bloodlines (Giovanni, Kiasyd, Baali, Tzimisce, Malkavian and of course, Tremere) the Gargoyles have-from their beginnings to these modern nights- fascinated me to no end.
I never really liked the Blood Brothers, but you do bring up some things I didn't think about.
That guide is now up!
Would the strange, giant, amalgam creatures in the sewers of "Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines" be Blood Brothers?
I don't recall them naming those things specifically one way or another.
I believe those were just Fleshcrafted abominations.
They could well be a Daeva blood creation in Requiem.
You never can know with those wacky Tzimisce anyway!
Was Blood Red Moon Over Chicago the first appearance of the Blood Brothers?
They're a sign of the end times.
...So they're the vampire equivalent to the Dancing Fire Gang from Labyrinth?
Chilly down now!
I like their quotes in V20.
If ever a bloodline needed combatted with a rocket launcher, it's this one
Blood Brothers are quite gruesome.
Hey my good sir, Could I ask you to do you think you could do a video on the Gargoyles?
You got a lot of replies to this question...
Ah, thanks. Hadn't heard of the Vozhd

« With their many coiffures » x)))

i have a question i kinda want to play this rpg with my dnd group but i need to know which books i need i was checking online but found a huge list could you tell me what core books i need?
thanks in regard
I'll get to them, don't you worry.
Very creepy indeed.
Utterly bizarre and revolting.
They are an odd bloodline.
Wonderful... there goes my Sadistic imaginations... I have to find other means of toying around with a Blood brother that would eventually lead to their demise...
I sure did! Thanks everyone, by the way
I play myself as a gragoyle scholar, and I would love to know more about my clan!
Very much so.
It's an RPG video.
I wonder - how plausible would it to have blood brothers as a player character?. Or perhaps all of the player characters could be blood brothers? - Though in that case I think something would have to happen that would allow each vampire to regain a sense of individuality.
... Yes.
If you cut off a Blood Brother's head.. can they just take a head from another blood brother?
Oh, but surely that's just poppycock.. Surely.
It doesn't sound like something that should be in vampire it should more akin to a promethean.
It truly is bizarre and it would go well with many other games you could do.
Where?
Wow, this bloodline sounds a lot like the vampires in Jojo' Bizarre Adventure. Or maybe the pillar men...
Is it at all possible to play blood brothers? It sounds like fun...
I would say so, but it would work best if everyone played as one.
The whole party? Sounds like an interesting campaign idea but I don't know how well RP would work if all players had the same personality. Interesting thought though. If I ever get deep enough into RP gaming to GM a game I might do that.
Or the Blue Man Group.
I am indeed.
No, they're juste ghouls of war, also called Szlachta.
I almost quit my job because it freaked me out so much. I think I had an actual World of Darkness experience;)
heh did that dude ask for the nagaraja again
Ace as always
Not that I've noticed.
Could well be...
hahahahahah, now u made me think about an odd images of them becoming a one blue and horible Blue Man
Maybe. Maybe.
Aiiieeee!
its funny but creepy as well
Do you mean the quest line involving the tzimisce? If so then no, those aren't blood brothers those flesh creations. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Just don't go psycho, okay?

Well i think we do all share malkav "gift", for being WOD fans. XD
14:20
And then start making pop songs.
And people listen to them.
And it doesn't sound like music anymore.
And it doesn't matter if they are Gaga or Souja Pig.
