  • In which the Gentleman Gamer explains the bestial nature of that most feral of tribes; the Red Talons.
    How do you cage a wild beast? What method is best for neutering the howling wolves of this tribe?

    I'm honestly interested in hearing what Pentex would make of the other Changing Breeds as well, especially my personal favorite the Ananasi. Though I suspect being children of the Weaver that Pentex isn't exactly too keen on them.

    In 2020... please make a 'Pentex guide to the Amenti' for the mummy anniversary ^_^ cause we all know that the Amenti have run into pentex, and totally kicked their shit in given the fact that vampires make up a significant portion of Pentex's middle management... and mummies are vampire kryptonite.
    Would be awesome to have the pentex vamp come back to train 'special forces' members in how to deal with the amenti... save for the Udja-sen and Sefekhi, there he's just mostly saying 'run away, as fast as you can'.

    ( in character as jack once again ) I hate to admit it but I have to agree with wyrm servant but you are right about the Red Talons. Their prejudices and discrimination will be their death, and I have had to kill many a talon to protect my human subjects and my vampiric brethren and my were wolf friends. The talons near aspen and Denver were on our side when you Pentex bastards helped the sabbat mount a front against colarado. But when we won the talons decided that it was our fault that the sabbat attacked and they dug their own grave. We where forced to defend our selves and when my friends child was murdered by a talon I knew a message had to be sent to the talons and me and my friend Peter had to take their numbers down a lot. I still feel horrible for what we did but their tribe leader needed to die. They still live in Colorado but they don't come near us or any werewolves outside their tribe now. I warned them and they didn't give a shit, their ignorance will be their death.

    Thanks for another great video. I knew nothing about werewolves before this series. Now maybe I can begin to use them. But I have to admit some of it still goes over my head. Just seems more complex to me than Vampires and Hunters for some reason.

      Think of it like this: Werewolves are Gaia's natural apex predators and protectors, but due to hubris, rage and idiocy they've fallen from their graceful perch. They spent so much time infighting that their enemies have all grown too strong. It's a game if tragic savage horror.

      I’d argue that a pro of the Talons is that they see a truth that the other tribes sometimes refuse to see. Humans are the problem. Other species have not caused global catastrophe like humans have (at least, not in many, many millions of years). I’m saying this as a human that lives in the United States, one of the biggest global contributors to our current environmental problems. The Talons are correct in that humans as a species have fallen out of balance with the rest of nature because we haven’t been kept in check. We need to reduce the global population of humans. The Talons are correct in this. That said, I’m not the biggest fan of their methods, and their methods are the reason why they get so much hate, along with their hatred of human Kinfolk and distaste for Homid Garou. Homid Garou are still Garou, and human Kinfolk often help the cause of the Garou and Gaia, if they know about and understand the situation. This, understandably, makes it a bit more difficult for the Red Talons to be player characters, especially since a lot of Talon players play them as mass murderers. It’s a bit like the reason some people hate the Black Furies. The Black Furies are hated by some people because a lot of people play them as man-haters that would gut a male just because he’s a male.

    It was the Black Spiral Dancers that destoryed the Bunyip, not the Red Talons. The Black Spirals tricked both the European Garou and the Bunyip against one another.

      The Gentleman Gamer but what you teach is nothing but lies. The truth will always find its way to the surface.

    • @cptexploderman
      @cptexploderman 10 лет назад +1

      Ah truth, indeed it does often bob to the surface. Truth much akin to a bloated body or other foul cast off that the living must suffer, raises to the surface. Truth is colored by perception my friend, ones truth may not be another's truth. Humanity is deliciously adept at excepting what it wants to believe, no matter how absurd or incorrect that "truth" is. Trust me brother Paladin, I'm on your side..

    Of all the tribes in WTA I think the Red Talons are my least favorite tribe, they're too easy to pidgeon hole into the role of "douchebag eco terrorist" who can't compromise and can't think beyond "humans are bad we kill humans!"
